  • I know I promised you an update on my life in today’s podcast, but based on the news events of late, I believe it’s not the right time. Compounding that, one year ago this week on the 18th, my mother passed away. I feel it’s more appropriate to air a podcast on coping with grief and dealing with the loss of a loved one, as well as honoring my mother’s memory this week. The originally scheduled episode will air next Monday, news cycle permitting. Thank you for your understanding, and my prayers to anyone who is grieving a loss. 🙏🏼

❤ it’s wonderful that you took time this week remembering being with your mom! It’s alright to still be grieving. After all, it’s a gigantic change to not have that unconditional love from your mom. It’s extremely hard and anybody who can’t understand this hasn’t lost somebody. My mom, my best friend died in 2018 and it literally turned everything upside down. Including no longer having our home, so I completely get it and I get why you are reposting this about the week that your Mom passed. There’s a pain in the heart that never goes away and I don’t care what any of these unsympathetic people say that are on here because they have no clue how painful it remains for the rest of your life. Yes, we move forward but it literally changes everything. Bible tells us to grieve with those who grieve and to be there for them. I’m so sorry Dominique that there’s so many hateful comments on here very pathetic. May you find comfort, in the love of the Lord ❤ Kimberly

My dad passed two years ago and I told my my mom when he was passing I didn’t want to be there right when he passed and she told me, take a Tylenol and get over it! 😂 she’s 89 and my hero! A couple weeks ago I was checking out at the butcher and the checkout women’s dad came in and she said oh my dad just dropped off money for my food. I burst out crying because it reminded me of my dad❤😢 the pain never goes away just comes out less often as time passes:(

OMG… grief for so many reasons including becoming a widow and other horrific things that have happened since then- no one understands why it is taking so long to get completely over everyone and I have lost my relationship with one of my daughters because of how long I have been isolating myself from everyone but her. Just seeing your CZcams pop up on the subject just made me start to cry with a kind of relief that someone is addressing this. I am definitely feeling better but sill I have to wait a while before watching -but look forward to it. Thank you in advance for this meaningful and I am sure helpful posting.

Hi Dominique. I lost both of my parents in the month of July. My mother 11 years ago and my Dad 3 years ago. The grieving process takes a lot of time. It never goes away we just learn to live the new normal. The saying they live on in your heart is so true. I had a relationship with my mother like you had with yours and I know you can understand they make sure we don’t forget them! There are so many signs she is still watching us! Hugs and prayers for you.♥️🙏

The first year of grief is the worse part of it, obviously some do not understand, but I can sympathize with Dominique , I have been in her shoes, sad to say it is and ebb and flow type of thing, and some just will not understand unless they lose whoever they loved, it is her channel and her topic, let her be ,
i loved Audrey and she’s going through it, a lot change job and a move all within a grieving soul to take with her on the journey . Please allow her some Grace and peace. Don’t watch if you can get through this type of podcast.

Please consider: There are folks who do need to explore/process this topic in their respective life journeys. If you are not one of these people, then please try to quietly show some compassion and respect to move along to another podcast/social media page/task.
