I definitely think that everybody that lives in this nation who come from any and every political and social background really does wish for its success. The big problem, unfortunately, emerges when people have different perceptions and ideas of what exactly will make the country successful. A lot of people were unhappy with Obama, and a lot are unhappy with Trump. I don't think there's ever really been a U.S. President that was liked by every single person in the country. Maybe in four or eight years we'll have another Republican president, or another Democratic one, or maybe one from a different party altogether. Regardless of who it is, there will be people that won't be fans of them because they might have a different idea of how our country can and should succeed. So while it's sad that there can't be someone in charge that will satisfy everyone, the cycle will keep going until one day maybe there will be someone like that.

Well done...old school ceremony...sat box with some Democrats just in front of the Navy box...a man and his husband were quite overwhelmed with the event as was everyone else...the finale was "breath taking" especially the family standing between the center pillars of the Lincoln Monument(reminded me of another large family(Bobby, Ted, and Jack and theirs), with the fireworks going off and the old guard singing...amazing the way the fireworks spelled out USA and towards the end displayed the flag...the DC 4th of July fireworks is nothing compared to this night...many of us exchanged information and most departed to change for other events...felt sad for the couple they were heading out to attend a "mixer" with celebs who came to protest...there is more....it's late
