Gratuliere Charlotte! Phantastisch gesungen und phantastisches Filmdokument. Bei mir in Salzburg 1991 war die Filmcrew; alle waren parat, und da wollte sich die Schwarzkopf plötzlich nicht mehr filmen lassen; man würde ja auch die alten Platten von ihr auflegen und nicht jene, wie sie heute klingen würde, sagte sie. Und so musste die Filmcrew unverrichteter Dinge wieder gehen und ich habe leider die Stunden mit ihr nicht gefilmt bekommen. War nachher noch oft in Zumikon bei Zürich privat bei ihr, aber auch da erlaubte sie keine Aufnahmen. - Toll für Dich! ;-)

Are there any more videos of the September 1987 Concertgebouw Masterclasses? I travelled all the way from Spain to be there in the public for both the 4 Last Songs and the General Lieder repertoire sessions and the final concert and thought I would have to live the rest of my life with the wonderful memories until they faded away from my mind. Reliving those wonderful moments has been quite an experience and would like to watch the full programme as shown by NPS 3. Thank you
die beiden mögen sich, das merkt man. Die Schwarzkopf hat manchmal schon beim Atmen des Sänger "faslch" gesagt. Margiono hat ja doch eine große Karierre gemacht, bewundernswert.
Comme quoi on peut avoir été une grande chanteuse et être un professeur catastrophique et manquer foncièrement de délicatesse et de gentillesse. Je n’ai jamais aimé Schwarzkopf. Cette jeune chanteuse aurait mérité d’être particulièrement encouragée. Elle était magnifique! Avec beaucoup plus d’âme et de beauté ce jour-là que la vieille peau agressive et arrogante.

Schwartzkopf was a bad human being , particularly when she speaks German but she was the best Countess in the Nozze from Mozart in history.
