I’ve been having a rather stressful week, but seeing your video come up on my feed gave me a GREAT feeling of relaxing well-being. Your videos really bring me back to being centered, and able to deal with any problems on my mind at the time. Thanks again Crafsman.
Crafsman! This is a great tutorial as always! You can also use Vaseline to smooth and even in place of sculpey softener. Also, after you bake a piece you can brush on Vaseline, wipe the excess off with a paper towel and then add more sculpey to it. It'll stick to the original sculpey like glue! I use this technique after I bake the form I want so I can then add details without messing up the sculpture.
I've got to admit, while I'm not surprised at using Vaseline as a smoother, I wouldn't have expected it to help as an adhesive...
