- In part two of our interview with CGTN's anchor Peninah Karibe she SHARES how she was caught in the middle of a gun battle while covering the coup that happened in the Central Africa Republic in 2013.
In March 2013 a coalition of rebel groups - Séléka - led a violent coup in the Central African Republic (CAR), ousting the former President François Bozizé from ten years in power and instating the new President Michel Djotodia.
What a story! Everything being narrated so vividly.
Both of you and your teams are doing a great job with the resources you have. God bless, looking forward to seeing the great impact on your stories of Africa.
PK is awesome and I really like the passion and allegiance she has to Africa. I look at people like Tucker Carlson, Lex Fridman Candace Owens, and the entire Daily Wire crew and I think she can make much more impact like they are doing. I think she has built a great name (brand)and extensive networks for herself that may enable her to kick some ass if she considers going that route. Me thinks.
This is very informative.Paints clear picture how there are problems in Africa instigated by West
Legendary may you live long to tell Africans stories
Kudos Peninah for your bravery!
This is a very captivating interview. Peninah that's very inspiring of you. @ Enoch you are doing an amazing wonderful job. Your stories are just top notch.

PK, nobody else could have done it better than you are doing it. May God protect you
It might be scary and she does all this in passion. I really pray that we Africans would just understand how blessed we are. Rich continent we just need love and to open our eyes.

And what JB did to that little boy who ran away coz of a tripod, planned a seed of a journalist who will report of a brighter Africa. God Bless Africa
Hey. It's JP for Jean Paul
nice story Africa has been left out on its own, they divide us and watch from far , I ve bn in those scenarios drc and in Mali too its a tough life , You live a day at a time , tomorrow is never guaranteed .
Enock please do a story on the recent Dabale, Moyale, Marsabit County gold mine clashes.
@13:14 yes it would be scary if a bunch of people come to see how u guys were risking the journey !!!
I lay my hat for all journalists.
Africa is so diverse man
Central Africa inafaa tu iuzwe
I was there, I am glad you are giving the story, I was in Bangui. This were Seleka, then after that there was the Balaka, I agree with you. It was terrible. I witnessed someone eat another persons hands.
What do you mean? Cannibalism
I'd have loved to be a journalist but I don't think I have the cojones to go to these conflict zones. Kudos Peninah.
I have to take my hat off to her and the camera man. Because, a lot of journalists are killed because, they report the terrible news.
First of all, the lady is beautiful. Secondly, her story is quite insightful. 😅
Kudos y’all made it but few notes kutokana na kuishi hapa majuu in bad neighborhoods you learn gun safety and prevention strategies always lay low, crawl or move in a low/ fetal stance flat on ground minimizes your chances of being a victim to stray bullets/ identification and keep conversations to the minimum mostly advices to use hand signals kakinuka and maintain your compuser and motion do not move from the frying pan into the fire without a strategy wether tactically equipped or not but most of all!!! Do not fold under pressure keep composure (hii ya mwisho ndio Mimi ilinishinda )😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Peninah is beautiful, i know the prayers of that guy in that eoom with movies😂😂😂
That a white guy felling trees in Congo and transporting them to Europe😢😢😢😢😢
The condoms and blue movies 😂
Hehehe.
Penina should think of writing a movie script about her experience
Longest is not missisibi but nile
The guy with the giant camera on his shoulder looks like a ground trooper with a shoulder high giant anti tank weapon aiming 4 a shot. Wueh. Big up 2 Ms Karibe but just asking...when are u leaving 4 Haiti???
Kanyangia hapo Enoc
