Visiting a garden of surprises in an English Stately Home - Burghley House, Stamford

Join me for a tour of Burghley House Gardens which feature imaginative planting, sculpture and surprises.
It has two spectacular gardens, each with their own distinct atmosphere and beauty.
(1) Sculpture Garden - one of Capability Brown's lost gardens which showcases horticulture, sculpture and seasonal colour; and
(2) The Garden of Surprises - a world of classical civilisation, astrology and astronomy.
I thoroughly enjoyed this garden and could not recommend it enough.
