That’s funny because I sure as shit do not remember myself falling through the map on a collision course with the earths core on the original games!
There were a couple of those places in the OG san andreas too, but MY GOD NOT TO THIS EXTENT.
I also doubt you could turn a simple gun running mission with Ryder into a forklift space program in the original.

The sad fact is that RockstarGames is no longer the original RockstarGames that cared about us and their games. They are basicly EA but even worse because instead of releasing the same game every year they do it every console generation making fans expect something good but instead making them dissapointed with an "Expanded and Enhanced" version

Although the GTA3 scene with the Banshee "suddenly blowing up" can happen in the base game anyway as something that "isn't a bug" due to how the Mafia carry the shotguns which will easily destroy any vehicle with I think 3 shots, once they're not too friendly with Claude anymore.
The Mafia don't normally spawn in that area, but it's right outside the "Saint Marks" area where they do spawn, so the game was probably still spawning peds from that previous area in the new area - which can also happen in the base game too.
It is not only in gta3 here

@@Officialchristophermorris - oh that's impossible to tell from just the clip we see, but at 0:21 there's a Mafia dude on the left with some sort of long gun (they only carry pistols or shotguns), and after playing the game numerous times it's just one of those "likely things", given the circumstance.
