Absolutely, and the more you give time for them the more you received back, a hundred fold. It makes me angry to see people that have a dog for show. So much dogs can give you. I took one in from a dog's rescue, and the previous person was a nasty piece of work, and we had problems with her temper, but with a great deal of patience and calmness she has blossomed.

I'm 53 I had my little Girl Dog for over 14 years , she's gone now Best Dog Ever I miss her so much .....I want another dog but I Work to much and I may die before my dog dies and I fear she would be treated bad when I'm gone .

The egg industry grinds up baby male chicks alive by the millions. "Humane" dairy farms hack baby male cows to death with pickaxe so you can drink his moms breast milk that rightfully belongs to him. But we coo on about dogs while stuffing our faces with tortured flesh and secretions of 100 billion land animals forced into existence every year just for a short horrific life of PURE HELL ON EARTH

Our dachshund would swim out with us into the waves at the beach. Those 2-3 foot waves must have seemed huge to him, but he couldn’t bear to be left behind on the beach. He was such a brave little dog.

When I got my first own appartment I had a little zoo with guinea pigs, rabbits, some birds and two cats...
My father was always the first one laying on the floor playing with the cats...
And he NEVER forgot treats for all...
When all kids lived on their own they started to have dogs...
Always dachshounds and they were crazy with them they were their real babies...

Same here with Ginger. Took her in from dog's rescue, and she is mad, now, mad as a hatter, and so easy to train, train for her own safety. We were dancing in a local market, this morning, going round and round, and she started it.

I swear some of the funniest comedians on the planet are dogs. Every dog can be silly but the weirdest ones are those that are trying to get back on their parent's good side, lol. They make it so hard to be mad or serious.
My husband has one problem with 1 of our dogs: my reaction to him, he knows he can do pretty much anything cause I can't, he goes goofy mode and I go from mad to insta lol and can't desguise it 😂

I adopted a four month old cat in December.. they didn't realize it and i had no idea either till i looked him up because he looked different and had a really long body .. hes 80 percent main coon.. he fetches he likes water he has to pir his paws in his water and then clean them. Hes so smart.. but whomever had him before i think was mean.. because hes still afraid of everyone but me .. hes a sketchy boy but hes my boy .. my precious baby boy

What is it about the dog voice? Usually a couple octaves above our normal voice, seems like everyone uses it. It's your dog not mine, then they are snuggled up on the chair together. Guess it's the grandpa thing, love those grandkids cause you can give them back to mom, get the lovin without the work.
