And then you listen to the Priest Turbo album and realize Creatures of the Night is much heavier than Priest was during that time. Kiss did help shape Metal, like it or not.

Creatures came out in 82, so did Screaming for Vengeance, a true Heavy Metal album, and Asylum came out in 85, and Turbo came out in 86, again a true Heavy Metal album.

Umm, I mean it's all rock and roll, but is British steel heavier than creatures? I feel like kiss was heavier than priest until the 80s were in full swing, but does it even matter what it's called? Rock n roll is a feeling,a spirit, not a genre
