Interesting vid👍I have chance drive both base versions n only difference I found was ride in JD was bounce more then CaseIH but both cabs n gearboxes were good. Also driven McCormick MC which similar to MXC with Xspeed? Gearbox was easier in loader work n high travel speed.
I am surprised this video never mentioned the loader - a pretty important feature for tractors in this class. The 1998 MX Maxxum brochure says a loader for them is "coming in 1999" (no compatible CIH loader available at the time). I recently searched all the American MXC tractors for sale on the internet on a given day, and didn't find a single one with a CaseIH loader newer than a 2255 (which is an older loader). Most had aftermarket loaders, so I assumed maybe CIH never offered a "new" series loader on these tractors when new. But now in this video I see what appear to be newer loaders on them, but the shot is never clear or close enough to read the model number. And it is mighty suspicious that loaders aren't even mentioned in this video... Does anyone have solid information for which new CaseIH loaders were available with new MXC tractors, with a verifiable source please? And why are they so extremely rare?
