This is not unique to converted Muslims. Many people experience threats and violence when they leave their religion. Mostly it's family members wo do this to them. Even in Muslim families such things happens.

Oh God, I have been watching such stories since I prayed the Dhuhr prayer, and these videos are not only revitalizing my faith but also bringing tears to my eyes. Since I have developed a sore throat, I am not going to watch any more videos until tomorrow.
How fortunate she is that once she embraced Islam, her sins were forgiven, and she became like a newborn Muslim, pure and sinless. Just like how I was born into Islam with no sins. How virtuous I was, my faith even named me Tahir (pure). But over time, I fear I have become polluted with sins. O Allah, forgive me on the Day of Judgment and resurrect me without any sins weighing me down. Forgive me as You forgave this sister's sins all at once. I cannot survive without Your grace and mercy.
