It’s so funny that you guys talked about listening to podcasts while you shower because I literally listen to all the Try podcasts while I get ready. My depression got pretty bad so I was finding it hard to shower and take care of myself. I grew up with Harry Potter! I finally got my husband to watch the movies and he kept asking so many questions, and I kept answering them but saying:"it explains it all in the book" and so he was like OK now im gunna read the books! & He did! :)
JK Rowling is a huge transphobe, racist and anti-Semitic (like loud and proud about it, especially the transphobia). Her writing contains the full spectrum of -isms as well, including highly stereotyped versions of the few non-white English characters. Your husband would be much better off reading a better series by a non-trash author.
I always like it when the podcast has guests because it's just a nice change of perspective and voice. Desiree was lovely!!

I played rugby (union) in high school. it's such a good game! Here (Australia) we call a blood sub the "blood bin" and we also have the "sin bin" for if you're too naughty. I was a prop in my team :D

So, the info about dove/body wash not being soap is technically true. It is a detergent based wash, whereas soap is an actual chemical composition (it’s a basic salt, made from saponifying fats in oils). Both clean. But soap is its own category and the fda actually doesn’t regulate it. Signed- a soap maker

@@vickynosleepy no, not lying and if it works for your skin, use it! Syndet/detergent based cleansers can be formulated to be very gentle. Actual soap can be as well (just depends on the formulation), but as with all things some people are more sensitive than others. And some soap can be quite harsh if you want it to be (think mechanic soap for cleaning grease/oil).
Certain ingredients in detergent based cleansers can be more gentle on skin than others, but again, it really just depends on what your skin likes. It also gets even more complicated that certain "harsher" ingredients can become quite gentle when paired with another ingredient. So there is a lot that goes into a formulation.
Some soap makers can be quite snobby and turn their noses up at cleansers that aren't true soap. I'm not one of them, there is a product for everyone. Use what your skin likes!

Fun story though. I had a friend in college and she showed me the movie, the Butterfly Effect. So we watched it and she realized it and realized the ending in different. She had watched in in Spanish before and turns out besides the language the ending is also completely different because spoiler* the character lives.
