Setback can be disabled on the main screen by clicking settings. Make sure your units are selected first because the settings you change will only affect the selected unit or layer/group. Also keep in mind that you will need to check any schedules that have it programmed and disable in the schedule. Also if you are using itm bacnet server the bacnet side may re-enable it by setting the units to unoccupied mode. Unfortunately one of daikins biggest bacnet flaws is how they handle on/off. Since there is no simple on/off command in the bacnet software, setting a unit to unoccupied will shut it off and enable setback simultaneously. I always try to tell the integrator to keep the unit in occupied mode and just change occupied setpoints for daytime and nighttime schedules.
Hey I’m having trouble with a VRV IV with the ITM. I replaced the PCM because the unit was failing self diagnosis. When I replaced the PCM the ITM didn’t not recognize it. Can you help. The factory had no clue.
No the software is just a tool to pre program the itm with. You need the itm to actually communicate with equipment. Once installed then you can set it up for remote desktop access.
I'm an end user and I am trouble with my units. Some has the Yellow symbol and others the Blue symbol. Is it something I can do to get my units back in operation?
Blue means the itm cannot see the equipment. Yellow means there is an error code. Click on the icon with a yellow icon and in the top right corner it will display the error for that unit. It's common to have a unit lose power, it goes blue, the rest of the system then shuts down and alarms u9 or u4 in yellow. May or may not be your particular issue.
Which password? The service menu? Or the web access? Or the screen lock? Or the admin lock? Lol There are a few passwords. There is a factory password that works for a few of them but you'll need to get that from your vendor as I'm not allowed to send that out though sorry.
@@shermanedgar9833 it's the same as service settings password as long as it's version 2.06 I believe and later. But you need to do the secret screen combo when admin password screen is up to activate. Or check with your vendor they can walk you through it too. Or call daikin tech support.
Brilliant video thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very useful flags to raise with the user - thanks again Dana
There's a lot to it for sure.
Hi and thanks for your great videos! Really appreciate them! Question: Do you know where i can find the license key for the screen ?
Take care!
which license key are you looking for? there shouldn't be a license key for the "screen" so maybe I am misunderstanding your question?
Dear Dana, How to stop setback setting in Daikin ITM. I removed setback from the unit but it is coming back.

You check the memory chip inside it? Sometimes it comes loose. If that doesn't work you may need to replace the itm entirely.
Could you get away with not having the ITM touch panel in a facility and only use the desktop computer version?

How to reset error code E4-01
Low pressure sensor. Once you repair and reboot it should clear itself.
I need someone's help in programming ITM daikin
That's why I made these videos. Check out the full playlist there are multiple how-to videos for programming different things into the itm.
