Out of all of them. Only evloev and Holloway deserve a title shot. The rest had opportunities and lost convincingly except arnold whos on a 2 fight losing streak. And basharat barely in top 5.

Don't think he would be interested in fighting against a another featherweight, moving to his division. Plus Topuria must prove himself in his current division. I like his confidence and I agree with him about rematching Volk (as much as I love Volk). Having said that, Conor won't be fighting any time soon, and Ilia should defend the title at least a couple of times before going for big money or legacy fights. I suspect Volk will get the rematch, but I can't see a different outcome.

I totally get that Topuria is trying to make money, and all... But Conor is not gonna make it at that weight. That dude may can't fight even as a lightweight at this point. I think, Topuria just has to clean his current division up. As boring and unspectacular as it sounds. Give him Max, Emmett, Ortega. Perhaps Evloev, Chikadze or Yair or a rematch with Volk. If he beats them all (which is expected), then he has the possibility of moving to the lightweight division.

Well there really isn't a need for a rematch. It's sad, but it's the truth. It will happen again, and I want Alex to still have his amazing legacy intact. Alex will go down as the featherweight goat, and one of the best fighters of all time. Ilia is too young, too strong, has the best boxing in the ufc, and has insane power. I don't want to see Volk get knocked out again.

There is sometimes a "rematch" clause in their contracts. Failing that UFC will impose their will as much as they can. Sadly, I don't think Volk will improve the result a second time around after such a vicious KO.

Volk deserves a rematch. I believe Volk's timing and skills are superior. He was out timing Topuria and punishing him with the jab.Obviously he has to stay away from that hammer right hand of Topuria for at least 3 complete rounds which is hard to do.

I get why Topuria is mentioning McGregor, coz he's the big money fight, but McGregor would NEVER accept a 100% guaranteed beat down from Topuria !
