I ordered the paddle plus comb because of your review and you were right. I absolutely love this brush mainly because I lose WAY less hair during the detangling process. This will really help me retain length by detangling without the hassle. My only wish is if it had a grip because it slips easily and is a heavy tool! But maybe they'll add that in the future.
I love my paddle comb, however I can’t use on wet hair. I do it with my hair damp. I use my Felicia Leatherwood brush to distribute product and get remaining shed hair. Worth the $$ for me.
I've been waiting on this review -practically on the edge of my seat! I don't have a lot of hair, but my strands are so thick that i really only detangle at the prepoo step because it's a nightmare to wet my hair otherwise. I just washed my hair last night and used the tangle teezer and managed to detangle in 14 minutes but if i can cut it down to 10 that would be awesome!!! If i could make a request? I really love your videos about particular ingredients(i watched your last one about polyquats), could we get more of those in the future?
I like mine but I've never used it soaking wet with conditioner in my hair so I'll try that. I think the brush is beautiful as well. I might get their combs too.

Yeah this is now the only detangling comb I use now. I’ve used the Felicia Leathereood for about 2 years now and over time I felt like it caused a lot of breakage and split ends to my fine kinky coily 4B/4C hair. So the best for me is to use my fingers and this brush but I only use this and would use this pre shampoo with some kind of slippery detangler product on dry hair. For 2020 I’m not detangling anymore on wet hair because it really can cause a lot of damage especially to fine strands.
i also have fine 4B/4C hair and agree that combs cause so much breakage. but what do you mean by you won't be detangling on wet hair?? how are u going to detangle instead? i feel like i get alot of breakage because i don't know how to properly detangle my fine hair
Olushola Tiamiyu I’m curious do you use a lot of hair tools and brushes to detangle your hair? I’m trying out exclusively finger detangling my 4B/4C fine hair during the wash and styling portion and only using a tool prior to shampooing with a slimy prepoo like Just For Me Curl Peace Preshampoo. I think the use of tools are contributing to my increased breakage and shedding.
Olushola Tiamiyu Also before shampooing my hair already has a lot of product on it so I don’t feel the need to get it super wet because wet hair is weaker hair and snaps more easily and with fine strands my hair is already easily snappable. I need more slip from the prepoo whatever I can use that’s slimy or slippery without much water. I’ve used the just for me because it’s not so much wetting my hair as much as it’s coating it and allowing my shed hair to slip out with less friction.
@@PreppyFay12 I was using tools alot initially because that's what I saw most (I'm a newer natural) but I'm think that's alot of the cause of my problems because I have shedding breakage split ends and single strand knots alot. I think it was too much for my (what I now realize) fine hair. so I think I think to really try to master finger detangling and use tools sparingly. I just feel like finger detangling my hair takes forever 🤣
