Deni Avdija is best as point forward. played PG at high-school. at DC since they changed his role from SF to point forward at the TDL he averaged 20ppg. 5 more then the season average and 8 more then as SF.
I think that is fine especially while scoot is still figuring things out. One of our biggest needs last year was guys who can dribble

Good takes, although deni can play off ball , he has showed much improvement last season actually running primary/secondary ball handler attacking the rim off p&r and has a great court vision to find and make plays for others. Good luck for deni and Portland hope it fits well

Clingen or Knecht will be rookie of the year next year and Deni will compete for most improved player and second team all defensive team, Clingen may compete as well for 2nd team all defense.

I like being deep at center. It has been such a weak point due to injury. If we can go big and have either Ayton or Williams shift to the 4 in situations and be available to spread time, i am all for it. Not opposed to trades, but not rushing it. Only upgrade for talent. We are under the cap!
Round 2 is gonna be HUGE for the Blazers. At pick 34, According to ESPN's Draft Simulator:
75% chance of Tyler Smith
75% chance of Bobi Klintman
54% chance of Kyle Filipowski
43% chance of Tyler Kolek
34% chance of Johnny Furphy
There's a very high chance, imo, one of Smith, Filipowski, or Furphy falls to 34 or the Blazers trade the pick for something good.

The trade is b+, a- only because of the shooting ussue. If its contiues improving like last year then its a+++.
The zers got sf/pf with point gard mentality that can handle the ball, pass, rebound, although not very atletic but very tough. Almost dudnt miss any game. If coach will give him the confidence then the zers may have with dany much better season than last year. Not yet playofff since the west is 2 deep and 2 strong for the current zers. Hope clyn and dany are only the begining of a happy summer

I really disagree with the perfect fit with Scoot. Scoot plays best in transition, Clingan is a half court only type of center.
But Deni is an amazing transition player, so Scoot will have someone who will run with him.

Draft I would give a B+ - and A, Clingan not my first pick, but getting him at 7 was great. The trade I would give a c to B- was overpriced, if it was Brog and 14, or Brog and two second round picks I would be very happy with that, but the whole package was a little too steep. The good part is that Demi addresses some of the Blazers problems, and it helps with the tax and frees up some cap room
Only people maybe taking clingan was hornets and grizzlies and us so obviously he would fall around then
I love the fit of Clingan to the Blazers. I don’t know much about the player from Washington Denny Abdija.
He’s very good. Averaged 20 since all star break last season. Defends very very well. Controls the ball well. Has a turnover issue but improved it slightly. Had a 43 point game on the road vs Pelicans.

If Donovan was there guy, they almost made a mistake in the timing of their trade for Deni. They traded away the 14th pick which could’ve been needed to trade up to get Donovan. It would have been better if they would have waited until after the 7th pick.
