Yes thank you. I removed the motor. Now I just have to order a new one. My old one wasn't running at all and I checked my fuses and they were OK so I hope this fixes it.

I had a lot of trouble with the white clips too. I was able to get them off with short, needle nose vise grips. (I didn't have needle nose pliers on hand but, I'm willing to bet they'd be more likely to work than bare hands too though.)
After I figured out how to semi comfortably sit (fyi it was upside down with the passenger seat reclined), I got it done in under 75 minutes. Thank you :-D

My blower runs good then starts slowing down , when I tap on the motor the speed picks back up. I've noticed also that the fan does make a odd sound on low speeds. Could it be the resistor ? I'm thinking motor because if you tap on the motor the speed goes back to high again. Thanks for any help. And thanks for the awesome videos

Hello Roy I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla that the AC temperature nobe is locked. & since it’s locked on Cold the ac doesn’t blow cold. All hot .When taking out the air & cabin filter it barely rotates but then locks again.
Sorry for the late response, been a little busy lately. I don’t believe I’m fully understanding your question. Are you talking about the AC blower motor not rotating? If you’re talking about the AC blower motor not rotating, first you have to make sure you have power going to the blower motor. If you do have power and it’s not working then you have to replace the AC blower motor. As for your temperature knob being stuck, I would suggest removing the knob and making sure the shaft turns properly. If it does then you’ll just have to replace the knob, the knob is made of plastic so it can easily break. If the shaft doesn’t turn, then that’s what you’ll have to replace. If all that is working probably, the first thing you’ll do is check to see if you are low on Freon. If you are low on Freon, top it off and check for leaks. If the Freon levels are normal, check to see if you AC compressor clutch is activated. Those are the most common issues to check first. Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions, I’ll try to answer them the best I can. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Hey Roy I have the same car. I don’t have any problems with the ac. But the cooling system fan sound loud pretty much everytime the car is running n the fan kicks in. It didn’t had this problem when I got it with 0 miles any help would be appreciated.
@@kittypaws520 After 100,000 miles in my ac started making that fluttering noise and got closer to the noise to the glove box i figured it was the fan and now watching this video it all makes sense

I should add that blower needs to be removed, cleaned and disinfected because a mouse/chipmunk got in there with acorns and mucked it up. Any suggestions regarding what to do to keep rodents out of the engine compartment would be appreciated.

I took out the old motor and replaced it the new one just as instructed in your video, everything works but when I turn my AC/Heater on, it sounds like the fan is rubbing against something as it’s spinning, did I do something wrong? Is there someone I can call or contact for help? I have the same model/year Toyota in the video, thank you!
First try pull it out again and make sure there's nothing inside the compartment, I've seen a few that's had a leaves or a plastic bag stuck inside so make sure there's nothing stuck inside. Next thing I would do is return the blower motor for a replacement, it could be a defective part. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching, aloha!
Hey not trying to be rude or anything but at the beginning of the vid you said it was an 8mm socket, then when you went to actually undo the 3 bolts you said it was a 5/16 socket. Which one was it?

Can I access my coil from there? I need to remove this vinegar smell coming from the a.c. I tried spraying the chemical foam through the drain tube and it didn't work. Last resort is removing the blower and trying to access the coil from there with an extension hose
Unfortunately without having the car in front of me I can’t say 100% on it but I would first suggest removing the cabin air filter and have the car and AC running, and spray some disinfectant (they do sell specified disinfectant for this) to try and get rid of the smell. You could also use powersteering fluid on the shaft. Last longer.
