FoxAlien 40W Laser VS FoxAlien 20W Laser Part 1

The FoxAlien 40W laser module still comes with "laser beam compression" technology, which can help have a better detail finish. Compare with the 20W laser module, the cutting ability almost increase 80%-100%.

Is it correct that the 20 watt laser is it's consumption and not it's output? if so, how many watts does the 20 watt laser put out?

I have the FoxAlien 40w laser and mine struggles to cut 3mm ply in one pass at 200 mm/min speed and 100% power.
Mine seems to be performing more like a 20w laser.
Tried 6mm ply 150 m/min speed at 100% power - repeat cut 8 times and still didn’t go through!
Is there something wrong with mine?

Are you using the additional power supply?? One came with my 4040XE plus 40w Como kit.

Is the 40w laser compatible with the Reizer Mega? I would like to get the 40w to replace the 20w.
