- Been a while since I've eaten at the Venetian Las Vegas and for my return I thought I would make a video over at Yardbird. This is a southern country comfort food restaurant near restaurant row and though it's not my first time here, it's certainly going to be my first time trying several dishes because

The Las Vegas strip is a beast when it comes to prices. Though this is apparently cheaper than the Yardbird in Beverly Center Los Angeles. So outside of the most expensive places in the country, Vegas strip prices are very high. Thanks for watching!

I went there for my sister-in-law‘s birthday when we stayed at the Venetian. The Yardbird food is phenomenal.

Ooh, my kind of food! I would be hard-pressed to choose which dish to order--I would like to try everything just like you, Shin! I must say that those deviled eggs gave a fresh spin on a dish that we expect to see at every picnic and Thanksgiving dinner. Would love to try those desserts, too!❤Thanks for this one!

I'll be in downtown as soon as the F1 construction starts up again lol. I don't know about that last shot. It would take a lot to setup and usually as soon as I'm done with the check I'm trying to pack up and leave. Usually I'm already at these restaurants for 3-4 hours and I typically have work the next day so I gotta be as efficient as I can. Thanks for watching!
I find it so sad that there are more alcoholic beverages on the menu than food choices. Everything (except the okra and lobster bisque) looked great. Thank you for an enjoyable video!
It's possible the dinner menu has more food options than the lunch menu while the alcohol would stay the same between both. But I'm not 100% sure. They certainly have a large selection of drinks. Thanks for watching!

I would have expected the Vegas location of Yardbird to be priced higher than the LA location, but the Yardbird in the Beverly Center is priced higher. Thx for the detailed food review of Yardbird in Vegas.
I often find that folks from Orange County and Los Angeles have much less sticker shock on prices when they come to Vegas than other folks in the country for precisely this reason. I've often paid more taking my parents out to dinner when I go to visit them than I spend on meals when they visit me lol. Thanks for watching!
The Yardbird is one of my favorite restaurants, but you should gotten the fried green tomatoes.

Loved that video. I love southern style food. Living in TN makes it a bit easier to get some. I hope it's ok to give you my feed back on a few things that would have made this more southern. And yes, I'm aware those are not items on the menu.
Fried catfish would have been a better fish choice.
That corn bread skillet looked good. Instead of the bisque I would have chosen soup beans, either pinto or navy beans, or a corn chowder. They go so well with corn bread. Some greens would have made your dinner complete.
The Mac and cheese looked great. And I'm a big fan of shrimp and grits.
Next time have a sweet tea with your southern style meal. It just goes so well with it.

I think the lunch menu is more limited compared to their full dinner menu. I had to go during a lunch due to scheduling but they may have some of those options you mentioned during their dinner service. Great insight from Tennessee though! Thanks for watching!

Their normal fried chicken is great. i was a bit disappointed in their tenders though. And i love tenders. I can happily eat chicken fingers/tenders every day. So for me its a big miss.

We had those smoke ribs, the deviled eggs, the chicken and waffles with the spice watermelon the jalapeño cornbread let’s just say we were ready to go to our suites😂😂😂

Yardbird is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when in Vegas. My favorite appetizer is the fried green tomatoes 10/10. Great video!

Some delicious looking options here and I like the sides don’t always have to be potato based even though it’s a up charge. Certainly a fan of Lobster Bisque and a good biscuit. Thank you Shin for sharing your experience! ❤

Tavern food taken up a notch... nothing frozen here. Pricey, but the quality and flavors give it a lot of value. Lots of attention to detail, something you would expect from a Gordon Ramsey joint not a family diner. Nice video shin... haha no corrupt files this time!

I haven't been there since before covid but they had a excellent brunch I think on weekends only. The biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs was sooooo good. I gotta go back and have it again. I think there was fried chicken in it too

I’m not sure if someone else already said this (you get so many comments!)-the savory taste in the waffles is Vermont white cheddar cheese.
We just stayed at the Venetian, and if we’d had more time, we would’ve eaten here. There are just so many restaurants there!

Vegas food bloggers seem to overlook Yardbird and the food (at all Yardbird locations in fact) is really solid. I suppose that may be because the lighting is dim and the restaurant is often loud. That said, you did a really nice job with the camera and mic work here as the quality is excellent despite those challenges.
As for my favorite item, the biscuits are a life-changing experience and highly recommended.
It is pretty difficult to film in there due to the issues you mentioned but I'm glad my video turned out ok. Thanks for watching!

Favorite comfort food was the gluten-free fried chicken. That is before I saw it's now $76. Ummmm, no, thank youuuuuuu. Seriously, the strip is mocking us, right? Lol

Yardbird is the best! Unfortunately, last time I was there was on Christmas Eve and they abandoned their regular menu for some weird Christmas menu. They didn’t even serve their famous fried chicken during Christmas. Strange and disappointing...

That looks really good for southern food. I definitely would get the fried chicken with some mac and cheese. I'm also picky about biscuits and if they are dry and/or dense, I would not be a fan but those did look pretty good. The fried Oreo sundae looks so good and guilty. I would so get that. Even the key lime bar I would so get that too.

VWS: Yard Bird is a food crime scene for sure with those prices, I am $16 for cornbread, seriously? But it looked well prepared and from your responses well seasoned & executed. Again I implore you to start planning a trip to New Orleans ( I can help) where you find real southern food at a fraction of the price and it will taste much better. I've been thinking about diversifying my CZcams journey with a second channel that would have some more travel focused content to try out food in other places. So what was the sauce around the edge of the lemon bar plate?
It was some kind of fruit coulee. Not a citrus though, maybe some kind of berry? I just stuck to the key lime bar. The marzipan made it sweet enough so I didn't go in for too much of the surrounding sauce. Thanks for watching!
