I did AV 1 in the mid July. The Dolomites were green with full of wildflowers. Only problem was there were thunderstorms almost every night, sometimes in the mid days. Thank you for watching! 3 more videos from AV 1 is on the way!
This looks awesome! Do you think this stage is doable for someone who is fearful of heights? We are deciding if we will finish at Rifugio Tissi or do another night to Rifugio Carestiato and then exit the next day? Right now, we have a short day from Coldai-Tissi then exit, do you think this day is one of your favourites and worth adding it in? Thanks for all your help!
It is not as scary as some books described this section. Yes, there is a short rock scrambles but it isn't exposed. If you are able to going through other parts of AV1, I think you can do it. The section was one of my favorites with dramatic scenery.
@@AdventurewithSunny wow thank you! I'm definitely a bit scared with exposure, but ok with steep climbs and scrambles. I will look into booking Carestiato!
