When I first heard this song, It was about my life-things just kept hitting me even though I was standing with integrity. Somehow, not sure how-by the grace of God I was able to stand up and fight through my faith. This song is definitely a big part of my life now.
Love this album. It has been an inspiration to me the last few months. My family and I are going through a rough time and I have things I am trying to accomplish. These times are when the Devil attacks the most; through friend, family, or foe and this song speaks about staying convicted thru Christ. I am a Christian and get so disgusted with the negative comments about Mary Mary. God bless ladies and keep encouraging and glorifying his name. Situations in life can be a battle and we must hold on

Everyone that will receive Christ was not born or "Grandfathered" in the body of Christ. And if it takes leather jackets and jeans to get them in there, continue to do it! AND show critical saints that you can actually have a GREAT TIME delivering the encouraging word of the Lord without looking crusty and dried out. God is greatly to be praised!

Like they said on The Talk, their mission for this album was to mostly shine the light of God on those who do not know him because, just like physical light, it is more effective in dark places. It is pointless to keep telling the people who already know. It is not our job to judge what other people do, but focus on ourselves. AND, it can help someone because they may hear this and research them and find out what they are about. Something big leans more towards inspiration.

I asked the Lord to give me discernment and I'm not going to ignore wht I felt when listening to/ watching this performance.. it seemed so dark..idk. But God bless them and regardless of how we feel about it, we must pray for them, keep em covered.

It's not about the beat or the music but its about the lyrics. You can have music like this and sing "Baby Baby Baby" or you can say "Jesus Jesus Jesus." It's all in the lyrics. I love the song and its not secular in my opinion.

They may not be all for reading and quoting the word of God. The people who need to get the message He has for them to hear will hear it and understand it clearly and know it's from God. God knows what He is doing, trust Him to do it through who ever He picks. Mary Mary are seed planters for God and they are reaching who they are assign to reach. Trust God.

The harm is that it is the word of God that tells us what God desires for our life & if they aren't singing it in every song how are they going to reach people or draw them to God with that song. As for holiness and sanctification we are taught in the church where the gospel is preached. That's why they should be giving instruction in their music.

Great performance! If you read your bible you would understand what they're singing about is biblical. It is about fighting fear in our lives, and standing against it. It's about not surrendering in life because of fear. God tells us repeatedly in the bible not to fear. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind. (2tim1:7) I first heard of their songs in the club, would be dancing to 'shackles' and be convicted. That was a seed planted. Continue praying for them :)

After seeing Lecrae, this performance wasn't no different than the secular stuff. Lecrae had a way better message to bring forth.

It's about not surrendering in life because of fear. God tells us repeatedly in the bible not to fear. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind. (2tim1:7) I first heard of their songs in the club, would be dancing to 'shackles' and be convicted. That was a seed planted. Continue praying for them :)
@Lenna646 The same reason Jesus didn't mention "God" in any of his parables when he was teaching. What he gave them in his parable was godly knowledge that they could understand. This song is no different.

There should be something about your persona that cries Jesus. Even when we miss the Mark through struggles with wrong we shouldn't miss the entire board if our heart be for God.

@Psalms11817 that makes sense... this song of theirs just isn't for me I guess. But as long as God gets his glory and souls are being saved thats what counts. I pray that the Lord keep them on the right path. Going into the dark places that they do, they HAVE to stay covered. Too many negative influences around them that could possibly have an effect on them. God bless them and God bless you:)
