Meat grinder I used amzn.to/45LU435
They have so many on Amazon starting from $50 and up! The one I chose has stainless steel cutting blades and plates so everything the food touches is safe which I prefer.
Kofte/ kibbeh can also be raw, yes!
I think I’ll try my hand at kitfo tonight! 🙌🏽🙏🏽 thank you for the video!
Your hair looks great
Thank you!! It’s definitely getting healthier after my haircut.
You are a pro at Ethiopian cooking Amena!
You're quite the cook. A good well rounded fast meal 😊 luv u'all ❤❤
You cook Habesha food better than the Habesha born n raised here in the states. 😅
I am impressed. You know how to cook Habesha food well. We love watching you guys. BTW Nitir Kibe literally means spiced clarified butter😂
Thank you I try my best!
No my fellow Ethiopian 😂 Nitir definitely doesn’t mean spiced clarified. It’s just clarified. Spiced would have been yetekememe Nitir Kibe.
Excellent 😊
One Love Motherland 🌍 ETHIOPIA
Hi Amena it's look yummy . The sudanese food closes to kitfo is kofta. So yummy too
አሚና የኔ ባለሞያ 😘 you're a good damn cook!
Thank you 🤍🤍
Ive always been to scared to try lol 😂
I don’t blame you but as long as you have fresh meat done using clean utensils it will be ok😂
I second that. Fresh meat is key. I get mine from a local farmers market and it’s delicious and safe to consume raw even.
Nitir means clarified.

Thank you Hana you're the best you always are so loving and supportive!!!! I wish we could be friends in real life lol
Nitir literally translate as clarified.
Do you eat your country food at all?
We eat primarily Ethiopian foods. My husband is kind of a picky eater so he loves his Ethiopian foods. I can eat anything. That’s why I’m okay with eating what he likes.
Amena, aletechalishem ❤❤❤👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
ጎበዝ አሜናየ ፍቅር❤❤❤❤
🤍🤍🤍🤍
ወይኔ ጉዴ 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
that's not how you make kitfo, but I can eat it. "Niter Kibe" means Clarified butter with spices
I got this recipe from a Gurage woman here so I don’t know how much more authentic that can get… minus one herb that I couldn’t find in the U.S... What part of this isn’t correct according to you?
No the recipe is correct. After you grind the beef, melt the butter separately. And add the spices including salt off the stove and then add the melted butter. Mix the spices and the butter (with your fingers if possible). The longer time you take to mix ,the better the taste. Add butter every now and then. Finally you put it on the stove to cook. Everything happens off the stove.
give the girl some break she did great 👏👏👏👏👏
@@brookendale3611 well ,she asked. And for the record I know she did great.
Nitir kibe is "Ghee"
Not just ghee but infused with spices
Please please say Habesha food
Don't come here and try to dictate what she has to say on her channel, who the f@#k are you some kind of CZcams police, go ahead and get your own channel and say habesha food
Kitfo is Ethiopian food and if you don't like that then go pound sand
No it’s ETHIOPIAN FOOD!
Hi Amena Sometimes I wonder why U don't gain Subscribers with all Ur good contents, I think I have seen 94.8k since 1 year .
U have to check it maybe if the pause ⏸️ it from gaining Subscribers or I don't?
is that possible to pause someone from gaining Subscribers I don't understand
Robel from Germany
Peace ✌️ upon you and Elyas.
I was inconsistent and stopped for almost 2 years so that’s why. And nowadays getting subscribers is a lot harder than it used to be as everyone is into watching Shorts videos and Tik Tok nowadays.
Do you know about Ethiopian history, please say habesha food
ethiopian history??? what do you even mean by that? 🤔you probably eritrean, don't be toxic
@@brookendale3611 right lol 😂 only them ppl stay worrying about Ethiopia. Leave us the fuck alone.ITS ETHIOPIAN FOOD!!!!
