- Super7 Has at long last revealed their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimates figures based on the 2k3, 2003 TMNT cartoon much beloved baby of Peter Laird. These action figures look amazing they have more articulation than super7 has ever done, double joined arms and legs. They nailed the cartoon look. These look so good. The team that I am aware who worked on these are Kyle Wlodyga, Brandon Gash and Matty K on the Design, Sculpt and Paint, and everyone else (please let me know) just did a phenomenal job.
This is a preorder through July and scheduled to come out February 2025

Exactly yesterday I was thinking about how much I wanted to someone to make these and the tmnt 2007 turtles and here we are
Yeah the 2007 turtles are up for grabs! Someone could swoop em up and put out some figures. Maybe they'd wait a few years though for that 20th anniversary
These look awesome definitely getting them and hoping for Shredder (best Shredder design) feel like the other three are lacking in accessories compared to Mickey though
Yeah it is a very basic set and nothing matches the awesome of the spinning chucks. It is the best shredder design. Surely getting him is a lock
Saw someone comment that their legs are too short compared to their legs in animation, any thoughts on this? I think I'll still grab them cause 2003 turtles were the ones I grew up
To me I think they look fine. The trouble with making figures based on animation is most arent super consistent, or maybe one season or handful of episodes they have a specific look but then it changes a bit the next season or next episode. So I personally never expect figures based on a show to be accurate to the exact degree because its a moving goal post. For my own tastes I think they really nailed the 2003 look
They are a little squat proportionally compared to the show but what can u do

Since the bonus pack head sculpts are similar for leo and raph, honestly, it would have been dope to have their vehicles replace the heads in the accessory pack. Scooter, skateboard, roller skates, and bike like in the intro omg🔥🔥🔥

Honestly, it's very hard for me to be satisfied with TMNT figures. Whether it be because they're cheap toys, they have restricted articulation, have weird gimmicks I don't like, or are just based on versions of the turtles I don't care for (80s show and 90s movie turtles are the biggest culprits on that last point)
These guys? These are the BEST TMNT figures I have ever seen and I am absolutely saving to get them. With the bundle because some of those bonus head sculpts look better than the default. Mostly Raph's bonus snarl looks better than the default snarl and yell. I hope they continue this line and we can get a Casey and Shredder and, if they branch out to 2012, I would LOVE to see them do Splinter.
Turtles are hard because they are limited based on the turtleyness so if you stray to far from that they become less turtles. I do think they will at least give us shredder, splinter, Casey would be a good bet too
@@toomuchnewtoys I understand that in regards to the torso because... shell. But I tend to feel like the limbs are usually very restricted. The only turtle figures I have are the Raph and Leo from Batman vs TMNT and they're not awful, but do feel somewhat limited in how they can stand. Also I broke the handle to one of Leo's swords trying to fit into his hand. It's now permanently glued there.
Also while I think a 2003 Splinter could be nice, I would LOVE if they ended up doing 2012 figures to give us 2012 Splinter. He is my absolute favorite Splinter and probably my favorite character in that show.
@@matthewscorner2990 the Batman TMNT are really fun figures but the quality is also kinda awful. The 2012 splinter is in my opinion the absolute best splinter
I would like more accessories, maybe neutral faces but I'm just happy enough to be in.
I think the belts and bandanas are too saturated and generally look more subdued. Mikey is also sometimes a bit more blue than this, which IMHO is needed to set him apart from Raph when his bandana is reddish orange. I also think Donnie's mask should be more pastel purple.
I'm gonna assume no more accessories beyond what they're showing us but MAYBE they can dial the colors a bit more in. I'll be happy enough with what they're showing but every once in awhile (like Genghis or Wingnut), they outperform the renders.
Yeah these are the renders so the final look, at least in terms of the colors and what not, could change and be adjusted, though usually they try to make them as spot on as possible. But yeah Mikey could be adjusted some along with their colors. The accessories though unless they really change it up, would just be whats shown. I wouldn't expect any surprises there. Maybe I'm just all mezco'd out haha, but at this point I'm just happy to get face sculpts I like haha instead of ones that just seem off. I think these all look great, so some more neutral ones for raph would be great. I really wish they (and more companies honestly) would just make it a thing of making head accessory packs.

Hopefully they do, regardless of if the character "should" have storage, I hope they do, weapon storage on the turtles is always better than not having it
I know I’m being selfish when I say I wish Leo at least came with the glove and sword when he cut off Shredders head I think in the end of season 2?

What’s the scale?
I dunno what the proper scale is called, but their figures are usually 7 inches, so their ultimates usually scale well together in that frame work. But they will be taller and bigger than other like 1/12 scale figures and generally bigger than most other turtle lines, but still fit pretty good if you ask me

Is the extra heads exclusive to the super 7 website. Ordered all 4 but I'm in the uk
they are unfortunately, I'm not sure how that works out for international orders, hopefully they have some way of not leaving you all screwed over. But in the USA for example the only way to get them is from Super7 directly.
Looking great overall, just not a fan of the stylized look for action figures. The last super7 turtles I really enjoyed getting though.
I think when they are making figures based on a specific look like the 2003 cartoon it's hard not for it to be super stylized. What's your favorite Super7 stuff?
these look good but I don't have any super seven stuff so don't know how good or bad they are. I do think mikey comes with the most and the others could have used a few more items. If these get redone into when they went to the future I think season 7 then I would get them since the look would be different.
Yeah, they could give us the pupil eyes and all lol. I personally really like super7 so I'm an all in kinda guy. I've had great experiences with them, sometimes the joints can be a little lose but I've never had problems standing. This is a different kind of articulation from them so its anybody's guess how they turn out. More accessories would definitely be great

First off, it's about time S7 got their asses and finally added double jointed knees and elbows. Need butterfly joints now.
2003 is the best version of the turtles in my opinion. I say that as a Playmates/Fred Wolf child.
Mikey has a spinning chuck effect. That should be standard for every Adult Collector Mikey figure going forward.
My hope is that the weapons are still compatible with S7's other Mikey figures.
The kneeling pose for Leo looks great. Donnie being able to actually pose with his bo staff is something the S7 Playmates version can't do.
Raph looks great.
Hopefully these come out free of QC issues.
I need a 2003 Shredder and 2003 Tengu Shredder.
It certainly is a great improvement for them and would be cool if it sticks going forward with the joints. Butterfly joints are great, though I'm not sure how well they work on a turtle. The Shell and Plastron really limits things so you kind of have to butcher it to get more articulation. I do think the 2003 designs make for the best figures, they are solid and chonky and just translate very well. Spinning chucks are god tier. No mikey should not come with spinning chucks. It just out and out better. It is always pretty wild to see more posable turtles. The later waves of super7 turtle figures for me have been great, no real issues. though Wing Nut is a little loose. I'm sure we at least get a Shredder, I mean we gotta get a 2003 shredder with how cool and the crazy things you can do with him.
@@toomuchnewtoys I have a lot of S7 Ultimates. From Masters of the Universe, GI Joe, Godzilla, MMPR, TMNT, Nosferatu, etc.
I have rarely had an issue. The S7 hate has always been overblown in my opinion.
I think butterfly joints should be easy to hide/engineer between the front and back shells.
I would honestly rather have those than double jointed elbows if I had to choose.
But as long as we have one, I'm good.
I just got my Mafex Knightfall Batman and Jada Toys Ryu and Ken.
They are so fun to mess around with. There is no excuse for S7 to adhere to Brian Flynn's outdated opinions on articulation, at least if they want to stay in business.
The next wave of S7 TMNT is supposed to be vintage now. I am hoping we finally get Wyrm.

Oh i'm sure they will be fine. sometimes the different super7 figures have used slightly different head pegs so you cant swap heads like you'd want, but the accessories have always fine. I bet the hands are the same size
A wyrm figure would be amazing, he's one of my favorite characters. It does make sense to pivot to more modern joints, its just how things have gone, I dont think its always super needed but basic double joints isa good thing. I agree that the super7 hate is way over blown, I still don't quite understand it as having their figures in hand is just really fun and I've always enjoyed them, even if there are at times issues. With the butterfly joints though if you hide it wouldn't that limit the range?
Does super 7 charge right away like NECA or when it ships?
The charge right away. Places like big bad toy store charge when they ship. I believe these are available there now. But won't get the bonus pack

I really want to get all four turtles, but I was having a looking online for Australian stores selling them and it’s about $360 AUD for the bundle pack with all 4. Really cannot justify spending this much on them dispute how bad I want them. It’s also $100 for each individual figure. Sadly gonna have to pass on them

Do you know if these are going to be hitting store shelves in February?
Can't say for certain as sometimes delays happen. But they have said in interviews that their production has been moving faster, so its possible! The estimate is February 2025 and I really hope they hit it.
They also probably wont hit big retail like Walmart or such BUT! Walmart does stock more super7 now as does best buy, so anything is possible.

Something about these figs just doesn't look quite right to me-the proportions seem too ape like and the animated look is too simple. Think I'll pass on these and see what NECA comes up with for these versions of the turtles.
I wouldn't expect neca to do these turtles for a few years at the very least

Man, I’ll be invested in the 2003 line of tmnt more once they have Shredder of 2003, and possibly Hun. This is just only the beginning and I’m surprised that they have offered turtles rather than releasing them separately in each wave like with playmates turtles. So you’re pretty much giving the whole package, Still, Ultimate super seven should focus more on trying to get the other waves released before working on this one since they had so many delays with the last waves.
In the meantime. Turtles! Count it off? 🎶
I love bein, I love bein, I love bein a turtle!!! I am actually surprised they did a full wave of turtles right off the bad. I wonder what it means for their plans of the line, if it will more or less end here or they will keep going deep. Getting Shredder is a must and a big huge hun would also be rad. I guess it depends on how this wave sales to show the interest and buying power of the 2003 fanbase. They have at least 3 or 4 really great waves they could do on this line. Shredder, Foot Tech Ninjas, Nano, Casey, Splinter, and on and on.
