The Treaty of Waitangi is Signed.
Billy T James, a classic brilliant NZ comedian artist, sadly missed. The world is probably far too woke for his humour today, but he’s still incredibly funny.

Classic brilliance. I love this guy.
He could take the piss out of any situation and make everybody laugh.
In that period, I think he did more to unite this nation than anybody before or after.
RIP Billy, you will always be remembered with love and affection.

Love billy t james, back in the day when our govt didnt segregate our mixed race families by race and didnt abuse our statistics. Back when poor mixed communities were seen as hard working tradies and good people rather than people in powers pet projects when they are bored. In acting like we werent diverse in the most diverse, poor but happy and evolved neighbourhoods in the world. Just to turn around and actively turn our neighbourhoods in "racial communities" which is far from a diverse perspective of anyone, more like trying to put people in their place because its easy for them rather than old govts of leaving peoples personal lives alone and being greatful for the people we live with as individuals. Ive never seen such an ignorant group of people in charge about the truly mixed and evolved and independent group of people nzers always were. The maori/scottish nzer of billy t james in a time when we were apparently allowed to feel proud of all of our origins, make our own personal decisions to leave religion and old cultures behind for a new united one of working together, helping each other and finding things that bring us together, not the things that make us more superior or divide us while abusing our fellow nzers hard working tax money contributions. If people really thought about how hard it is to make a blanket and muskets back in the day this was also a massive sacrifice to the people who gifted them as they didnt live in a time of robots making everything and advanced technology. Im proud of everyone back in the day and as soon as people start seeing the past as the hard existence it was for everyone, the more grateful theyll be and less spoilt and nasty

Billy T's incredibly skilled, impeccably timed, witty and clever reflections and observations with his hilariously funny , finely honed, entertainment and humour brought us all together to laugh with each other. Sadly the woke movement wants to cancel humour, to divide and conquer to push their ridiculous agendas and turn scientific knowledge upside down. Love ya work Billy and it's still relevant today

Those were the wonderful days when we all laughed together.... with the "mickey" being taken out of both races equally (usually Billy T got the best of us though!) but we adored him and we laughed together and shared our lives together - mates... there was no such thing as Maori elite with massive chips on their shoulders and trying to justify their existence by convincing their young they are victims and every problem Maori have in life is to be laid at the door of the European settlers (colonisation).

Billy T James definitely mastered the art of satirical comedy and no one today comes close. He understood that if you’re doing comedy, the number one rule is to be funny. And he knew his audience perfectly.
That being said, these so-called ‘elite’ Māori (I guess Māori who don’t shut up and do as they’re told?) have been there all along - the only thing that has changed is that nowadays it’s harder to just block your ears and ignore them.

@@anthonybutters Some Maori radicals gave poor old Billy a very hard time... called him an Uncle Tom - you name it and when he had his heart surgery they were down right cruel... they hated the fact that he could see both sides of the fence and find humour on both sides and that he was a much loved kiwi icon. Elite Maori are not as you described... they are gravy train Maori who wad their pockets at the expense of their own people - live the fat life and do nothing for their own ... their greed knows no bounds. and they are never satisfied..

As is said, those were the days. We always have our ups and downs and hopefully the country will come together again with commonsense and purpose at some stage. Unfortunately we've devolved, too many detractors and not enough good spirit or work ethic this day and age, that's really sad to see, and not the NZ I grew up in. God bless Billy T.

and of course some glue for your children, lol, a lot of truth said in jest !! Billy was a genius, and often spoke the truth in his comedy, and, for doing so had his life threatened several times by various Maori.
