    The computer halls are raised because chilled air is fed under the floor into a cube containing servers. This cold air was fed over the servers and out into the rest of the room which was a "hot aisle" to be recirculated, colled and fed back under the floor via CRAC (computer room air con) units.

    • @TomStorey96
      @TomStorey96 Před dnem

      There are no overhead cable trays so all of the cabling would have been under the raised floor too.

    The panels in the galls are called PDU'S (power distribution units) they fed the racks of servers via breakers. The UPS would have dedicated rooms.

    He Matt, CO2 room extinghuishing is the most dangerous of all, the design concentration is approx 10x the dangerous concentration (means ALWAYS DEADLY). With Halon, Novec, FM200 you are safe, with inert gases you should be safe but near the dangerous limit.

      @@Lucas-os4vx well said some people just don’t have a clue. He talks loudly because it’s apart of his aspergers but people who are totally ignorant of the condition will make absolute bullshit comments saying he’s too loud and annoying. If some people just looked online about it then they may understand. But I think some people still have a cave man mentality and think we should all be the same and act the same. Well I’m sorry but we’re all different we should all love and respect one another and be more open to people with autism and aspergers. I have plenty of friends with autism and they’re the most friendliest people you could know. Compassion and understanding goes along way.
