We often put it in our own bags, or the street vendor may have a trash bin at their stall, so you can throw it there. You can also visit a public facility/park, and throw it over there.😊 (This is a summary, brace yourself if you would like to read my essay below😅).
Also, welcome to Korea, Uyen! I hope you have a fantastic time in Korea! I do see you are in Seoul, but I do recommend going to other cities and places as well! Have a fun time with your boyfriend, and thank you so much for posting fun videos (they help me laugh when I am depressed with my Advanced Placement studies^^).
Edit: I see a lot of debate, so I am going to elaborate.
Firstly, most stalls do have their own trash bags.
Secondly, public facilities, as in subway/ train stations and department stores, do have trash bins, and the parks often have a lot of trash bins, too.
Thirdly, I don't know about other Koreans, but when I go to South Korea (I live in the US rn), I usually eat in a restaurant, rather than a stall, and because the inflation which made food prices more expensive than the past, people don't really eat outside.
Although we (Koreans), also do want trash bins to be located more, I personally think it could cause some problems like in the past, and I honestly kind of like it. A nice walk to the trash can, with you showing responsibility for your trash.
Also before comparing to other countries, you should see the environmental differences too. SK for example, don't have raccoons nor skunks in the open like the US, and the only animals that are often reported in the news is cats in the cities and water deers up in the North near the DMZ.
The Korean government, for those who don't know, passed a law in 1995 when they found household and workplace trash in public trashcans, presumably to avoid spending a little bit of money (if i know correctly, you only pay when you buy the trash bag and the prices differ by place). Thus, the government started removing trash cans to stop this from reoccuring, and while it did have some side effects as in littering, most people do put the trash in the few remaining trash bins in the places mentioned above.
Re-edit: You don't necessaruly have togo to a public bathroom. Korea is a country that you must recycle and separate trash by type. Most public trash cans are separated, such as general, paper, can, glass, and you put them in separate bins. General trash are like pet excretes, and whatever else that is not classified by the availiable types of bins. The streets remain clean by our sanitation workers (which I feel greatful for❤). Most products that are bought will say what they are, and which bin they should be put in, such as 일반 (general), 종이(paper), 캔(can), 알루미늄(aluminum), and 유리 (glass) as example.
We also have a trash can for liquid! It'smostly used in cafes and restaurants, for drinks and ice.
Hope you understood my explanation 🙂

Same thing in Taiwan! The explanation is: public trash cans just create more littering, when they're knocked over by animals or the wind, or when they're not regularly cleaned and it overflows, when people discard their trash mindlessly and it doesn't even fall in, and worst of all is when the trash is left there overnight and it attracts rats, cockroaches and other critters. Also it's harder to separate your trash and recycle properly if you're just throwing everything into the same public trash bin. It's better to bring this trash into your homes or establishments where the trash is not within reach to outside animals, is not contaminating the environment, ans where someone is responsible for separating and recycling it, and disposing of it regularly. The more you know!

Ohhhhhh… Lol, international travelers, do not do this in the USA! Now that I type it, it feels ridiculous, but we’re very territorial about our trash, adding to someone else’s or using a large bin intended for a particular set of homes or businesses is not cool, esp in smaller cities & towns. People here get angry if can collectors (aluminum can be resold in many places) gather recycling from trash, even if they are very neat and tidy. I tried to leave our work empties easily accessible for the people who live in tents behind my work building, but my employer wasn’t happy about that idea.
