Not to take away from your video, I am super stoked for this library because i cant play a mis sigs song to save my life let alone erra or artificials, its the best midi program ive ever heard no question. I know you get tired of the “og erra wuz better” comments too and not everything you do is or should be an invitation to bring that up, but man i feel compelled, because while im super glad that erra is reaching more ears and all the members seem happy, erra did not used to sound like any other band at all, even with the lyrics, in fact i couldnt be convinced otherwise that the bands that have recently gotten big in this lane of metal HAD to be inspired by erra. Im not saying erra is selling out or anything, the st was great and I’ll probably like this new record just fine but I can definitely hear other bands in the new stuff, but what can ya do, sounds change! I am super happy you make erra stuff when you feel like it though because I just find it so gratifying to deep dive on the band that doesnt have too much “BTS” or interviews, cause yalls music helps me get through a lot. Can’t wait to hear what the library can do upon release!

cool stuff dude. Augment is probably one of my favorite albuns of all time! its full of amazing riffs and the lead guitar really outstanding. I think you should do MIDI for older bands as well like Hopesfall

Dude this is awesome! I have a a completely MIDI metalcore project that I’m working on so I’m gonna have to check this out! I got 2 songs I released on my channel this last year and I think it’s completely possible to pass as real instruments. I’m excited 🔥
Also the only real problem I have with programming MIDI guitar is idk how/can’t replicate all the harmonics/scrapes/weird noises everyone like Spiritbox/Erra/Knocked Loose does. You have tips for that?

You said that song video makes you remind of old ERRA, man i watched the old clip some days ago from "Towers" by ERRA filmed in that field, know i know that brings that old vibe hahaha
I learned about ERRA in 2020, Eye of God being their most recent song at the moment until the self titled singles started coming out, to this day, i always take my ass back to Augment album.. i wish i knew of ERRA in my highschool days, it would have shaped my music taste alot better alot sooner

I love ERRA, for me Impulse and Augment are still masterpieces, still in heavy rotation. And still it feels like ERRA just keeps getting better and better for each release

TFMM was such a good amp sim. It breaks my heart that it became discontinued :( and it broke on me right when they announced it!
What do you mean it broke on you? Mine still works.
@@AlanRigdon the UI completely broke down on me, all I see with it is a bunch of knobs with the parameters on the labels. The old version still works but I preferred Ultimate

I've been talking to my buddy about how Erra doesn't feel the same after you and Garrison left and he still don't understand the "soul" you put into guitar that Garrison could carry on his voice. it is a different band and who am I but some guy on youtube.
However anyone liking this comment agrees with me that Erra doesn't quite have that sound that scratches the itch it used to, and I believe its cause there is a piece of that "soul" lost with you and Garrison.

I think the problem is that people change over time, Jesse now can never sound like Impulse/Augment Jesse, and JT can never sound like Garrison so if that's what you're looking for then more power to you, don't listen to new Erra lol

music changes. those sounds are old. many bands don’t do the same style like they do 10 years ago
@@sarcasm4371 well first off if you're wanting Erra to sound like augment again, you best just stop listening to new Erra because the past is the past. Second off, music is subjective and JT in eye of God sounds exactly like he does in all of the self titled songs, albeat weaker because he's perfected his sound in the self titled onward.
Third, both Lunar Halo and Eye of God embrace the whimsical side of ERRA which in my opinion is the best part and the defining trait of the band.
Fourth, the self titled album isn't average by any means. Literally none of the songs sound like anything from any random band. They are all explicitly unique and if you can't hear that then heaven help you.

As someone who uses Midi a LOT I’m super excited for this, it sounds awesome. Will there be an option for clean DI? I noticed you said “my tones”, will there be premixed tones OR do we have an option for clean DI? I’m so excited to buy this lol

Sounds awesome! Are the release noises for guitars 1 and 2 also separate samples to avoid phasing? Plus any other noises

Also, and idk why, but people legit sleep on JST amp sims. Like, they actually slap but I think it's because they are designed to be slightly dialed as opposed to out the box like Neural. Also, can we get access to that carvin beta????
Thanks and yeah I still make music with my band The Artificials. I think most people don’t want to dial in, they would rather load up and go. That’s fine and all, but sometimes dialing it in is the fun part.

The original is fucking fire, i just prefer this version for some reason. To me it sounds just a but heavier.

Does the library come with stereo guitars?
The library itself is mono, but you will be able to run two different instances in stereo without phasing. There will be a guitar 1 and guitar 2. It’s very low on CPU usage so no worries there either!
@@AlanRigdon i mean you could add a stereo mode in the library so it would be much easier. Also will it be free or paid? if paid, will there be a free lite version?

Not even the slightest. Completely happen with my life and the success of the band!
Erra doesn't sound like Erra without you on a guitar. They haven't since you left. The new stuff just sounds like Spiritbox to me. Your style of playing gave it something different. Impulse and Augment are still their best stuff. I dont really like the new album. Its all sounds the same to me. Their self titled was their best since you left.
Alan please make a return. Augment is the best metal album of all time. New erra just ain’t it. I mean who tf mixes drums like that

@@AlanRigdon The cymbals and kicks are fine. Sometimes I find the snares don't fit in my songs... and the toms especially just ring out forever I've always found them useless in metal mixes . They don't sound like ABR toms for instance. I find Invasion or OKW Metal toms fit a lot better right out of the box for metal stuff .
@@DemonEmbarasser gates are your friends with toms. I thought the same thing until I slapped a simple bus compressor and drum gates on there to tighten up. Nolly has a great tutorial on snare EQing that goes over both GGD M&M and GGD Invasion that might help you fit your snares in too. Not saying for sure this will work for you but that helped me figure out what to listen for instead of just copying settings which I fell into the trap of. Modern and Massive is designed to be a well captured raw sound that can be manipulated into a lot of different mixes but since its so raw, sometime you do need to do a lot of manipulation to make it fit. Definitely not as "grab and go" as the OKW libraries as you mentioned.
