I don’t even know if Evil Sun is really that evil. Guy got screwed over and pushed around so much, now he’s just looking out for himself and just wants to be left alone, wants to make sure other people’s shenanigans don’t fuck with him. I mean, sure he killed his Moon, but most versions of Moon wanna kill their Sun first so it’s just self-defense at that point.

Excellent episode, well worth the wait. There's some hella impressive voice acting in this one- especially on the quick changes where DarkSun interrupts Ruin while he's in the middle of speaking. Darl Sun insists he only wants to be left alone, but seems to be entrenching himself more and more into Sun and Moon's lives by rallying their enemies. Odd, I wonder if he's sort of at war with himself in his boredom, the way Eclipse V.1 was, or if he'd lying and has something else planned. Interested to see where it goes!

I like Sun but not that much tbh, but Evil Sun on the other hand is slowly climbing higher and higher on the list of my favs. I literally have a list of the characters from the most liked one to the least lmao. Moon is my third favorite character in the show currently (sorry this was long lol-)

I hope we get Solar back soon and the creators of the show are almost done creating a new model for Solar cause that's the only reason why they would kill him off the show temporarily. Solor's new model will probably look like the thumnail art of his character on the Lunar and Earth show and look similar to how Lunar and Earth look like in style.

How did these people manage to make a villain that makes me more uncomfortable than any other villain I can think of? Not just in TSBS, but throughout the entirety of my life. And the strange thing is, he is technically not evil (which somehow makes him scarier). Dark Sun is closer to what D&D players would call true neutral. He is the definition of pure apathy; HE DOES NOT CARE and he wants to be left alone. Yet he has managed to victimize not just one other villain, but two; and it doesn’t feel like he is stopping there.
Another thing I want to bring up about him is that he doesn’t do things without a reason. So him coming to this dimension and just “randomly” looking for a dark matter generator was part of whatever plan he has. He wanted Moon to take notice of him, he wanted to tell this specific Moon what Ruin was doing. I mentioned in the video where Eclipse confronts him that he wanted to do to Moon what he did to Eclipse. And what he said at the end of this episode about hating himself is the only instance of him caring one way or the other about something. I wonder if it’s actually the parts of himself that he absorbed from his Moon that he hates. This makes me worry about what he is planning. After all, one of the best ways to ensure that you are left alone is to get rid of the person that is bothering you. Whether it is our Moon, his Moon, or someone else entirely is the real question.
Actually, there is one other he clearly showed disdain for. In this very episode too. He absolutely hates Blood Moon. He actually changed his tone a bit even when saying it, sounding ligit annoyed thinking about him. On the other hand, saying he hated himself, he almost sounded more accepting of it. Perhaps more hating himself for what he is or has done, but not going to change or fix it either.
So today on Thursday, the sun and moon show are not posting today,
