  • This conversation took place on Thursday 11th February 2021. Joining Baroness Morgan (wearing a slightly different hat, in her role as Chair of the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals) were Rebecca Joyce (English 1996), who is Chief Operating Officer of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals and Dr Aaron D’Sa, Fitz alumnus (Law 2012) and Fellow in Medical Sciences. In addition to his teaching role at Fitz, which focuses on medical law and ethics, Dr D’Sa is also a Specialist Registrar in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
As well as discussing day-to-day working life, the conversation tackled larger questions of decision-making, both in term of workforce, scaling up Covid delivery, backlog of “normal” caseloads, and medical ethics.
