Is there a reason you kept swapping between square and spiral knots? Is it possible to do only using square knots? Great work too! It looks beautiful :)
Yes you can! I wanted a textured look, and the alternating made a great diagonal pattern -- but you can easily do only square knots!

Hi i have a wireframe basket that i want to make into this project. do you have any idea or suggestion on how to continue the macrame all the way to the bottom?
The problem I came into was having was how to hide the ends of the yarn. The foam was my best solution. Let me know if you come up with anything different.
My basket has a central rod at the bottom. I might try and start from the bottom and just leave the ends at the top like a ruffle or something. Thank you and i let you know if it works out!😁
