Taylor I know what you mean! I'll be 29 this year and never imagined that I'd be so close to thirty unmarried and without kids. Many people I went to school with are already on their third child! I used to compare myself to them and get discouraged. But like yall8 said...things happen for a reason! I'm using this time to learn, grow, and practice self care. I'm experiencing life in my twenties without kids or a marriage, but I'm loving the relationship I'm developing with myself so that I can teach these things to my future children.

Curls wet TA= Green Side looked tighter in pattern and Yellow Side looked looser
LA= Pink Side looked tighter and Blue Side looked looser
Curls Dry TA= I standby the Yellow Side pattern looking looser but the Green Side looks bigger has volume
LA= Blue Side is tighter must be that Quinoa Protein but the Pink Side has fullness, but to me the shine level for both is the same

I had a plan. Same plan as Taylor, married and kids by 25. Smh. I’m 28 now and still single with no kids and I’ve come to realize that I’m good without either right now.
*Final Results*
For TaylorAnne: the right side looked more defined and the highlights looked brighter than the left side.
For LoriAnne: both sides look the same to me.
Imo the yellow gel had less shine and made your highlights pop less tayloranne but there definitely wasn’t any difference with Lorianne’s gels

Hey! It looks like on Taylor's side, the green defined the curls and made the highlights pop more than the yellow (which did nothing much). For Lori, the blue defined the curls better, yet there was less of a difference between it and the pink.
Went on vacation for 9 days and catching up on all my subscriptions. LoriAnne I nearly wet my pants when you teased Taylor about her shoes and shared the VP story. You always crack me up. Tay don’t be discouraged at all about not being married yet. I got married a week after my 25th birthday and did not foresee being divorced 10 years later. Then I figured I’d remarry within 10 years and now it’s 14 years later lol. It’s natural to have these plans/expectations for ourselves, but I agree Lori our steps are ordered by the Lord... what is meant for us will be. Keep doing what you’re doing (Ruth) until Boaz comes and find you doing your thing. It’ll all happen at the right time, not our time. You’re beautiful inside and out; preserved by God for the RIGHT guy... who knows God could be getting him prepared for you. 💕

Let me watch y’all before I decide which one to use for my wash and go today lol. I was confused by the directions as well. They really did no proofreading! Also, if I’m not mistaken if an ingredient has PEG in front of it like the dimethicone that means it is water soluble. Mad fam correct me if I’m wrong!
yea the PEG Dimethicones are water soluble and are very good as oppose to regular silicones

Taylor I can totally relate to what you're talking about with your life plan and thinking you'd be in a certain place at 25 yrs old. I just turned 26 this month too, and I've been feeling the same as you. I didn't exactly expect to be married with kids by now, but I had hoped my life would be in a different place, especially with my mental health.
Taylor I hope you're right about them being the same. I just used the green one and I love how my hair looks. Has volume, shine but still has definition which is hard to find for my hair.
Tay the firm hold side looks more vibrant with the curls and highlight! To me the soft hold side look dull

I agree: look at the ingredients rather than the company's marketing claims to decide which one(s) you want. To me, both your left sides look fuller and , Taylor, your left side looks shinier with richer color, too. I'd be interested in hearing how each side holds up on day 2 and day 3.

Here and loving the video,🥰, you ladies have stepped up the game listing the ingredient deck and pointing out non curly girl friendly products. Not a fan of Curls (smell overpowering and results) but always love your reviews. Edit came at the end of the video. Taylor the strong hold side is bigger curls and very defined love that look. Lori's hair looks great the aloe side has more shine.
I think the pink side does look shinier!
You guys are hilarious busted clothes busted shoes 😂😂😂 what a great team...I love a good gel so I’m here for this Curls collection but I think the green was the best because of the shine and definition, the pink and the blue results were close but the blue gave better curl definition than the pink to me..the yellow had good wet results but when the hair dried it looked dull
Curls Blueberry Bliss was one of my early product lines that I really enjoyed. I just stopped using it after I ran out of the products, but I may have to re-visit it as well, now that I know the gel is glycerin free. You know this summer has been super humid and I am sticking to all of my glycerin free stylers and having successful wng's. TA, when it is supposed to happen, it will. The results look basically the same on both you of......good though. Thanks for reviewing.

I experienced soapy feeling with pink and it dried with a cast but roots puffy. I need a little help with my hair. I like the airy, elongated and slight hold. No oils I prefer butters in my leave in. Any suggestions

I’m not a huge fan of curls. The only product I like from them is the passion fruit edge control. I just don’t understand why they added silicones. I thought they were lol about being sulfate & silicone free. It’s weird. Anyway I’m not a gel fan so I’m not really interested but I love the way the strong hold gel looked in your curls Tay. It looked a little more clumped in your curls compared to the other side. I couldn’t tell a difference in Lori’s hair. They basically looked the exact same. These gels definitely seems like a gimmick, tbh 🤷🏽♀️
True, like the only one I feel comfortable buying is the pink one, because of the ingredients. And as I'm about to go order the pink one, I'm only buying it as a more budget option. My other go to budget option is Giovanni LA. But above all my 20-30$ gels like ecoslay, kinky curly, and camille rose give me the best wash days. Just that price tag makes me want to have some budget options for wash days where my upcoming weekly schedule is not too important.

I use all 4 gels. I love the smell of the yellow one but I do not think it has the hold of the green one. I mix those two to get the scent and hold, lol. I did twists last night and used the pink and green together. Overall I love them!!

For Taylor’s hair I see a difference. The green gel side is shiny and more defined. The curls pop. The yellow gel side it looks more dull and possibly more frizzy. Looks like you’ll get more days wear out of the green gel side.

I was the same way Taylor Anne by the way I’m a fellow Cancer July 7th and my mother is July 13th. I would always say if I don’t have a child by 30 I’m not having one well 30 came and went then I said 31 came and went so I was convinced it wouldn’t happen so at 33 when I least expect it bam I get pregnant and I was 34 when my daughter was born.

Watching this 2 years later because just picked up two bottles of the blue gel today at Marshalls. They were $3.99. Guess this line is discontinued as I haven't seen it around in a long time.

Well hmmm looks like gel is gel. 🙃 But the Yellow has dimethicone, no glycerin, the Green one has both, the Pink has neither and the Blue gel has glycerine and protein but no dimethicone. Hmmm. Now that I cut my hair, I don’t need any gel. Just a leave in but things are always subject to change with natural hair. 🥰

I do see a difference in TaylorAnne's hair. The right side looks better and node defined and the left side looks less curly like you combed through it. LoriAnne's looks the same.
I'm 23 and I also used to say by 25 I would have my own home, married and 1 kid on the way. Welp that's not going to happen. I do have a boyfriend of 2 years and living together. But I'm not as near as I want as to get my own home. No matter what happens I want my own home instead of renting. Working really hard toward my goals. If it takes a little long it doesn't matter to me. What matters is that I reach it at one point
Actually I can see the difference on both side on your mother side one side is Fuller one side and shorter on your side one side is big curls and the other side is small curls but since you did it you can’t see it but I do

Taylor... I know what you mean.... I wanted to be married by 25. Have my first kid at 27 and the second at 29. That DID NOT happen! I got married when I was 36. I am glad that I waited. I would have been divorced in the first year if I married the wrong person. I am thankful God sent the right person for me at the right time wrapped up in a completely different package than I expected.

I think those 4 gels are just way too confusing. Too much in one go, for me. Maybe if they came out with 2 gels, one glycerine-free and one with glycerine.
Lori's hair looked exactly the same. Taylor's hair looked completely different. The yellow side looked dry. While the green side looked shiney, moist and fuller. If I were to purchase strictly off the way the gels looked in both of your heads (I would never do) instead of the ingredients my hair likes. I would not purchase the yellow one, strictly because it made Taylor's hair look dry in the video.
