This is a REALLLY GOOD review. The audio is good. The quality is good. You can c the screen of the phone very clearly. I'm glad he took his time with this review. It's very informative.
i got this phone and i'm in love with it. it got everything that a typical person would need.
I have the first LG enV & this new keyboard is big to match the 3'' screen in front. The enV spacebar i much big in length but not by width the keys are much smaller. I recommend this phone I love the touch screen works great ! Very well made phones. My enV lasted me just almost three years !
Best phone of the era! Sure do miss simple 2009 times!
I can't wait to get this phone tomorrow! The store near me has it for $99 after the $70 mail-in rebate and with a 2-year plan.
I went to my Verizon store and was looking into getting the DARE but I found out that I get a $100 credit in August so I decided to wait. This gave me time to really think about what phone I want to get. I think I have my mind set on the enV Touch but I want to test out the keyboards on the Touch and the enV 3 because I have big fingers. This video helped me out a lot and I plan on watching the second and third parts.

omg i just got this phone yesterday and i absolutely love it! it is easy to use. the touch screen is very responsive and the keyboard is amazing. the only flaw i have is the camera doesnt zoom but it auto focuses which is pretty cool. i love this phone wouldnt want anything different

this is the highest rated phone on the site and so i bought it and i have to say im pleased with it :) never thought id go for the touchscreen generation of cell phones
i have had this phone for a week and its been good for me and all of you that hate it are comparing it to smart phones this is a texting phone thats how good it is you have to compare it to a smart phone

This is a fantastic review. However, on Part 3, I do believe that if you press the SEND key on a contact or favorite, it will dial them.
i have this and the space bar is absolutely fine. he's over exaggurating. it is just perfect and even if it seems wierd at first you get used to it quick.
It's actually quite loud. I synced it with my Rhapsody account and it works very well.

i had this phone and let me tell you saying its a good phone you were one of the lucky ones to get one that works even though you didnt have it for 2 years 7 months ago. more like a year or less.
It's all around awesome 10/10 but the only thing I miss is the space bar at the right side of the phone from the original EnV...
@Vampirechick012, yes there is also a touch qwerty keyboard, just turn it sideways when texting
yeah it does its actually a pretty nice key pad it is very accurate
Okay so I had this for one year,
so far, I have dropped it a million times (no cover), it's been in a puddle twice, my dog stomped all over it, and it's working perfectly fine :)
The bottom key even fell off (a friend broke it apart -_-), and it still works perfectly.
The only problem I have is battery life, and it DOES shut off on me.
i like the key bored just not the location of the space botton other than that its a coo looking phone i might be getting one this september
I have the iPhone but trust me when I had this phone I LOVED IT. Definately a good phone :)
Had this phone... it pocket dials and I used the lock feature. I hated it when I had it but now that I have an iPhone I kinda miss it.

yes it does- just got one of these a few days ago. and it's super high quality. 3.2 megapixels i think. camera is better than the iphone and the blackberry's in my honest opinion.
Ive had this phone for about 7 months now. I love it, the only thing i hate about it is that is shuts off at the randomest times. I know alot of people that have this phone too and they said it happends to theirs too. so dont be shocked if it happends to you too :]
This is by far the best phone Ive had. Traded my LG Dare for a Balckberry Storm which was worse than the Dare, since I was unsatisfied I swapt out for the enV touch. I love this phone. As far as web browsing its a little slow but I can care less cause I have RR turbo at home. LG chocolate touches from what a several friends say they are junk like the blackberrys. DO NOT GET THE DROID, 2 of my friends returned with in 8 days of having, most complicated phone to work and shuts down or freezes.
Get the touch! I have the Dare and I like it but the enV touch is better IMO

I don't think you call ppl if you put it in ur pocket unless maybe you do al the right motions and I own the phone just got it today and its freakin awsome looking. The keys are nice and spaced and it looks cool.
i really got lucky on this one because my voyager broke so i went in to get it replaced but the guy (probably the most chillest dude ever) said that they ran out of voyagers and verizon stores around them, we were talking about the touch before then he tells me that he might be able to score me an amazing deal, so he brings out the enVtouch, like i said got reeeeally lucky

The touch has full html web browsing, which is big for me. It also takes better pictures.
because they can. that's basically it. they take all their good phones and make data plans and leave their kinda crappy phone (like the envs and regular flip phones) without a data plan. it's actually really smart if you think about it. they are making money because people are paying for it and if they don't want to pay they are stuck with crappy phones.

I'm really liking it. The camera is nice, it can take panoramic pictures! lol
if you guys want a phone with a good touch screen just get the dare. you only have to tap it after you calibrate it. and it has a touch keyboard which takes some getting used to but you will get that hang of it.
Yes you do need a data plan!
like you can on the voyager, can u have it where you can hav "external" view of what photo/video you are takin wile the phone is OPEN

The keyboard is great, but many seem to share my problem of random shutdowns, setting/data deletion and Pocket dialing. The main flaw is that the "Lock" button unlocks the phone as well, which makes the slide to unlock pointless. The are a few workarounds (thick case,inconvenient password lock, but Verizon has yet to make the simple Firmware update to fix this.
Ultimately, the touch screen is nice, but somewhat pointless, and the hardware is flawed. Get the Alias 2 or a Smart phone.

I've got my cell upgraded few days ago, on the touch sound I've set it to jelly cause the jelly sounded like TiVO. Although when i was carrying the boxes or something else when the auto lock is disabled but I re-enabled it wasted my battery juice so i lock it instead, but I

my friend has it, and i use it a bit.
it's good, but the touch screen is slow...
the speakers are a bit iffy.
but i like the phone.(: it's gorgeous. good camera too.

I've had my enV touch 1 full day and have 197 text messages, I still have 3 bars left on mine after one partial charge but what I do is after I text people I lock my phone so it automatically turns off the touch screen. The only thing that kind of annoys me is the space bar, shift and symbol keys were moved around. I'm still getting used to the phone but LOVE IT!
He means that they are there specifically to carry out a certain function :)

@InchAndCapo you just gotta go to the verizon store for the mto upgrade the soft ware, no biggy . it doesn't make it a crppy phone i love it i had the same problem dude and after i sent it over to verizon i got it fixed

it depends do you like using the internet cuz if you do then you should keep the omnia.
if you want a cool phone that has games, full keyboard, then get the envtouch. the envtouch's touch screen is better.
(if you really liked your omnia then you should probably wate till the omnia hd comes out.)

black berry curve is a very good phone but what sucks is that you still have to pay for internet even though you don't use it. i like the touch looks awsome

i hate the way the space bar is why did they change it? everyone is used to the space buttons on the sides i have a voysger and will not upgrade to the touch for the placement of the space
The touch tchnology is nthing cmpared to the iPhone, insensitive and sortve a pain to get used to. But if youre actualy in some sort of hury you can just flip the phone open and use the butons until your comfortable with the touch screen. If find that when scroling I constntly select options (the same thing happens with my iTouch but rarely). Other than that the touch screen can allow very quick navigation along with a great setup allowing you to add w/e shortcuts you want to the front screen.

This phone by far is the best phone overall that Verizon has ever came out with. Fantastic phone!
I like this phone, its easy to text on during class. :)
it mostly depends on how you use it, but some people get better battery life than others

I have had both and in terms of features this phone is better but the LG Cosmos Touch is more sturdy.I have would get lg env touch.

no it won't because the phone has a lock button on the side allowing you to black out the screen when you aren't using it. Like the feature on the iPhone or iPod touch if you are familiar with those :)
