Why would it be blown up? If there's quality oil in it no reason... My Gilera 50 2 stroke has 32.000 kilometers on it and this original engine. And yes, I was pushing it to the limits...
@Alex Hartikainen i’ts a fucking mx bike. It is meant to be ridden full throttle.. Have you ever driven on a mx track? Go watch some mx competitions and then come here if you still think this ”wears out the piston”. LoL
Appleex the problem with motocross bikes for real desert races like the Baja or even Finke is that although they are motocross bikes they can’t handle full throttle all the time.
Appleex whether it’s made for mx or not high constant revs=less ring life. The average rider could ride 25 or even 50 hours on a 125 topend. But an mxer riding the bike to its potential is going to need a new topend at least by 10 hours of racing. Go read what all the racers are saying and when they’re doing them. 125s are single ring engines and higher revving than most 2 strokes therefore they need more maintenance. This is actually much harder on the bike than an mx track because the load is so high in the snow. Now the air and snow are helping keep things cooler but the revs are staying higher far longer than they will on an mx track. On the track you essentially drag race turn to turn and in the turn the engines gets extra lubrications and a moment to cool a bit.
some people just really don't understand how much fun it is to drive your dirt bike in the snow my CR250 with a bald tire would rip through two feet of snow like nothing love it

My 400 EX comes out when there's snow but that has a hard time when it's that deep. I thought this video was going to be for a KTM 125 with the timber sled attachment and that's why I watched it since I didn't think they could be used on a smaller cc bike.
