Hi I’m new to your channel and am finding it extremely helpful as I’m working to brush up on my excel skills. I was wondering if you might be willing to do a video on extracting data from reports or other docs/applications. I also believe that data could be then turned into charts/pie charts? Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks a lot, this helped me very much, so many years I never used excel until now, my mistake and now I am learning.

Sir Ji, I need ur guidance in solving this.. In a sheet,
A1, B1, C1 are the three cells. C column will be given by me as input (positive no).
B1 = A1 - C1 and so on for B Column
A2 = B1 and so on for A column
Now, A1 is to be automatically derived, such that "0" comes in A column.
Thanks in Advance 😊🙏

Well, I guess we see what it takes for this guy to reply to his followers.
If you only select one cell in the column and select sort a to z. it simply sorts that column and all the other columns stay in the same place. So data gets mixed up.
You mentioned to add a blank row or column to separate the data into another section that doesn't get sorted along with the rest. Well, I have done that accidentally, and now my data won't sort along with the rest -- but I can't find the blank row. How do I group the data together again?
do we need a specific setup to make sure we dont accidentally sort the column names as well?
i kept screwing that up.
If I have a 20x10 chart with 200 unrelated to each other numbers and want to sort them from smallest to largest, how do I do that? It would be easy if they were written in one row or one column, but there are 10 rows and 20 columns.
What if my sorting is about letters and not numbers? I am using excel 365 and it allows me to sort but only by colors, numbers and that I cant get it to sort alphabethically
Sir, I worked on file and sorted the data and Saved, Now, How to undo the sorted filter, or how to go back to original position ,
I know this has been a minute but I'm just not seeing it. What am I doing wrong if when I click on the name column and A to Z and it puts one of the names above the labels. Like the column labels I have set up.
Hi How to i keep my sort order ? eg i have a table of names and points and copy to another area to sort. I highlight, and choose sort function, and sort per points. Now, the following week i will update this table, and copy to the area mentioned, i go to sort and my sort order has gone. I want to keep that sort order, Any ideas?
When I try it it says I can’t change part of an array. What does that mean?
Hmm. Mine doesn't work. I have a dozen rows - but it only sorts 2-12 and leaves the top row as is. ??
Hello, How to automatically count sorted items?
how to sort alphanumeric data ?
👍
I try to sort and it says "You can't change part of an array."
MINE SORTS SEPARATELY EVERYTIME
this is NOT everything about Excel sorting... you have not talking about row sorting.. or option sorting..
Unclear video
nothing changes this, and this videos blantant lie that its one click is frustrating
And when Excel is STUPID, and DOES sort your title row with the rest, what then? I'm not sure saying that Excel is smart quite covers it.
