I've literally lived through a similar situation as Elena (not vampires but 2 brothers who were ridiculously similar to Stefan and Damon) and it's NOT fun. I've learnt so much and yeah at first it was exciting but it's not worth it. This show is meant to show us what NOT to expect from a healthy relationship but there wasn't a single relationship that was ok. lol
And Kevin Williamson (guy who created scream movies) who co-wrote the first 3 seasons. The tv show Dawson’s creek is about his life.. a teen from a small town who dreams of one day going to Hollywood and making a horror show .. his dream came true.

I watched some snippets of this series on 2010s in youtube when i was in my early 20s and forgot about it because there's no way i can watch this in asia. After like a decade, I was browsing in netflix and this popped up. My brain seems to recognize the title but still can't remember them. I tried to watched the trailer to refresh my memory and viola the moment i saw stefan my brain cells screamed, "This was the show you really wanted to watch a decade-ish ago". 😂

Who knew this would be my favourite show and this would be one of the best shows that are created.
I saw a picture of the three of them in a tv guide and just knew that I had to watch the show. 11 years later and I'm still completely in love with this show.
I am on season 2( beginning) and I don't like Stefan much but I liked the Damon character, just tell me who is going to get the girl because I am feeling very sad for Damon that none of the girl love him so if it's about Elena and Stefan throughout then I don't want to watch it further.
