New Hazbin Hotel Villains Adam and Lute revealed

- So the official hazbin hotel twitter page just revealed the show’s main villain called adam. The tweet says, “Extermination Day is here! Prepare for the Holy Light of Adam. Clocks ticking... 💀#HazbinHotel”
Included in the tweet is an image of adam. He’s the leader of the exorcists and is carrying a guitar. There’s lightning circling around him as well. Adam resembles the other exterminators but he’s larger, is wearing a white robe and has a yellow halo above his head. He also has a yellow face with both eyes rather than the x the other exterminators have. He also has a pair of wings. Behind him is another character called Lute.
Vivziepop quote retweeted the reveal and said, “IT’S YA BOI!! The leader of the exorcists! I really love this guy, he was a blast to write, he’s a blast to watch and I cannot wait for you all to see him. I’m a sucker for the villains… 😇 #fuckyeeeeah 🤘”.
An animation lead on hazbin hotel posted two cute chibis of adam and lute. We get a better look at their designs. We can see the difference in the two character’s designs and lute is also carrying a spear which resembles vaggies.
Vivzie quote retweeted this post and said “Lil Adam and cough Lute”
The same animation lead did a follow up post saying, “These 2 have been my new favs ever since starting Hazbin and I'm so glad I can finally post about them!! #HazbinHotel”
The tweet includes a funny image of adam and lute where lute says that adam asked for no pickles. Perhaps this image shows the two character’s personalities and how they will appear in the full series, with lute being the more serious one.
Another hazbin hotel team member posted an image of adam. Their tweet says, “I drew this Adam awhile back and I’m glad I can post it now hehe”. In this image adam has his arms crossed and has a more evil expression.
And lastly vivzie did a tweet saying, “You can tell when a crew have been with a character for over a year and have a lot pent up about them. 😂 That’s been basically all these character drops.”.
Credit to redzrobinz in my discord server for pointing this out but in the hazbin hotel pilot at the beginning there are two characters that resemble Adam and Lute. This shows how far back these characters were planned.
So yeah that’s everything. I’m surprised we got another character reveal since it’s the last day of 2022 but we got a final surprise from vivzie. Alot of people thought the next character reveal would be lilith as well. As for the designs i really like lute since she resembles the exterminators from the pilot. For adam i’m not really a fan of his design, he looks cool but in my opinion he looks a little too similar to the imps from helluva boss. His large dress looks a bit odd as well. I’m still super excited and can’t wait to see these characters in the final series. They’re also our first two confirmed villains apart from the 3 v’s so it’ll be interesting to see how they interact with the main case. Let me know your thoughts on the new reveals down below. well, vivziepop confirmed about a year or two ago that what she was most excited to see in hazbin hotel was heaven, so obviously they're going to have a lot of appearances in the series.

Honestly Adam's design slays- But I really can't wait to see how they show the Exterminators presence in the show aside from an annual event, clearly they're more prominent and I am living for it. I'm very much so looking forward to more of these characters the team has worked so hard on. Amazing per usual.

This reveal gives me the impression that the 3 Vs will be minor reoccurring antagonists in the first season and potentially the first set of villains they face. I'm excited to see Alastor's warlock-esque powers as well as his brutal transformations.
2022 was absolutely insane for the helluva/hazbin fandom.
2023 will only get worst
On 1:41 Cartoon Universe theorized in one of his videos awhile back that those 2 characters in that screen shot from the Hazbin Hotel pilot are actually Satan and his son Damien, but it could be Adam and Lute.
He said that in a recent video that it probably is Adam and Lute cause of their design reveals

Wow this was way out of left field and I really did not expect this. I love Adam’s wings but I will agree that he does look to much like the imps and Lute looks great, I’ve always loved the exterminator’s designs.

I swear that before the series premiere I will rewatch the pilot to remember the old hype I had for hazbin hotel and then feel the extreme excitement that the series is finally coming out.

Personally, I enjoy lute’s design rather than Adam’s. The dark colors, face/expressions, and weapons used by lute and other exterminators that were came from heaven which makes their design a more ironic and cooler look
Still, I appreciate both design and I am excited to get more information about the extermination and angels/heaven in their universe

I mean Blitz is already evil...he is a hired murderer after all. But lets see if Adam have a good side, like if he cares and have empathy with someone close to him or something.(Just like Blitzø with Loona, Millie and Moxxie)

I have a feeling that he's going to be the big bad that will force the vees to join the hotel crew. Just my speculation.
This personally doesn't make much sense to me; making an exterminator angel the big bad guy of the series. As the major threat during the season finale, sure, that I understand. But Extermination Day only happens once a year; what business would the exterminators have in hell until then?
They would have been better off making demons try to hinder Charlie's plan or smear the hotel's reputation. We already have Valentino and Vox who would be going after them because of Alastor and Angel Dust.
Screw you, Adam is much more perfect villain than vees to the theme of hazbin hotel. Hazbin hotel is musical about Charlie trying to redeem sinners , angel rockstar Adam is sush a good villain, he is one of my favorite, he is a toxic misogynistic douchebag that you have fun love to hate. He's funny and entertaining. He's complete opposite of Charlie, but also example of first winner in heaven can get spoiled and become worse as opposite to sinners can be redeemed and become better. Charlie is a demon in hell, but as person she's a true angel who committed all 7 virtues in first episode, when Adam is an angel in heaven, but as person he's true demon who committed all 7 deadly sins in the same episode. Charlie's trying to solve the problem of overpopulation of sinners by the idea of redeeming them, so basically pacifist route, when Adam's idea is exterminating sinners, genocide route. And when the main guestion, why Adam is an asshole and in heaven? Note to the beginning when Lucifer gave Eve fruit of knowledge (where's popular theory that after Eve ate apple, Root of all Evil took over her body and became a character named Roo, a future antagonist). So, when Eve ate apple, Adam is nowhere to be seen. So basically in hazbin hotel universe, Adam didn't ate apple. Do you know what it means? So basically Adam is a child in grown man's body who doesn't have any knowledge about morals, what's right or wrong, the difference between good and evil. He get to heaven (in ep 6 and 8 we learn that angels don't choose which soul get to heaven or hell, they get automatically). Higher angels acceptd him as one of their own, thinking that if he's in heaven, that means he's good flawles person and everything what's he's doing is ok and they don't argue with him. They teach him black and white rules. Angels in heaven are good, sinners in hell are evil. Just because he's a first human soul in heaven they give him higher status,labeled him as someone so special and significant important, fed him a story as flawless man and progenitor of mankind and the fact that he's he had a life with no normal discipline and punishment, not facing a consequences of his own actions, not learning from his mistakes. So basically Adam get corrupted by all this and doing whatever he wants for his own entertainment and also maintains his importance in heaven, and he became spoiled frat bro with God complex. He swears a lot because again, he is a big extremely immature child who didn't normally grow up in heaven, so basically he as child thinks that swearing is cool and angels don't argue with him about that.
This is just a theory, but maybe it's not the angels that look like imps, but imps that look like angels.
I'm guessing that there is some rivalry or hatred of the angels in hell, and the imps were created to slightly resemble them. Because of the hatred of these angels, the imps are in the lowest class.
Even I don't completely believe in this, but it's an interesting idea.
Also, Vaggie does resemble Lute, considering both have similar spears and an X over one eye.
I mean demons were Angel's who went against the lord.

I was a little underwhelmed by the reveal mostly because I was expecting it to be Lilith (but that's my own fault). Looking at it more and hearing Hazbin staff hype him up has me intrigued. I do wonder what they will do with him

I wonder if this Adam is "The" Adam, because Biblically Lilith was Adam's first wife who was kicked out of Eden and replaced with Eve because she wouldn't follow Adam's orders. It would certainly add some baggage to any relationship with Charlie, the daughter of Lilith.

My guess is that Adam has some history with Lilith, given that Lilith is said to be the first wife of Adam in the garden of Eden and got banished when she wanted to top or something of that nature if I remember correctly.
