Y'all of course James voice is going to stick out. He's the only male voice, and singing in unison with 6 female voices and he also has a darker tone than them. Harmonies get more complex when adding a male voice because you have to make accommodations for range. Just because he's sticking out doesn't mean he's trying to out sing everyone.

Wow, ya'll so rude. They were just having fun. Everyone keeps saying how James can't harmonize, but the girls were singing together for years and practiced it with each other. He was trying and they had fun. That's what really counts.

I have had ten plus years of vocal training, went to school for vocal performance, and honestly the SINGLE most satisfying thing besides forming chord progressions is harmonizing on the spot. I freaking love it.
