  • #59 Uncovering the Potential of Nitric Oxide in Treating Erectile Dysfunction, with Dr. Nathan Bryan
    Nitric oxide (NO) is a vital molecule necessary for optimal health. It functions as a vasodilator, transmitting signals to your blood vessels that cause them to relax and expand. This facilitates the circulation of blood, nutrients, and oxygen throughout your body.
    Recent research has shown that nitric oxide may be able to help men with erectile dysfunction (ED).
    Dive into the episode with Dr. Nathan Bryan, one of the pioneers of nitric oxide. We will discuss how nitric oxide can be used to treat ED and the potential benefits of using it as a treatment option. We will also discuss how nitric oxide works to improve erections and how it may be combined with other treatments for better results. Finally, we will cover the risks associated with taking nitric oxide supplements for ED and what you should know before trying them.
    CHAPTERS
    0:00 - Introduction
    1:49 - Dr. Truong’s background in nitrous oxide research.

    14:52 - The problem with taking arginine is that the enzyme that converts Arginine to nitric oxide is broken.
    19:55 - How do you use mouthwash? Are you using fluoride in your toothpaste? What are your assets?
    24:52 - What is the cause of nitric oxide deficiency?
    30:10 - What is nitric oxide and how does it work?
    35:52 - What’s the maximum amount of nitric oxide you should take?

    Nitric oxide has been implicated in many physiological processes that affect both the acute and long-term control of kidney function. Its net effect in the kidney is to promote natriuresis and diuresis, contributing to adaptation to variations in dietary salt intake and maintaining normal blood pressure, and the liver is an organ affected by nitric oxide, and acute versus chronic exposure to this substance has been associated with disease patterns. different hearts. Bacterial infections, including sepsis syndrome, acutely increase systemic nitric oxide and can cause acute hepatic dysfunction.

This is not a mistake, or a fluke. You say nitrous and nitric interchangeably throughout the video and the written question you ask at 3:18 is proof of your lack of knowledge.

    Nitrous Oxide is N2O or laughing gas. Nitric Oxide is NO. For NO (Nitric Oxide), nitrogen (N) has five valence electrons and requires three more to complete its octet, while oxygen (O) requires two more electrons to complete its octet. They form a bond by sharing two electrons, leaving nitrogen one electron short of an octet, thus NO is not a fully stable molecule. You talking about NITRIC OXIDE?

    Hi Dr. Truong, very nice webinar I watched it this morning on the treadmill. Thanks so much! I got my Ph.D. in biochem in ancient times (1974) so not much talk about nitric oxide back then. This video put all the pieces I'd be hearing over the year together. I cannot help but mention though how much Dr. Nathan Bryan (who was excellent) would be considered "in conflict" with current dental recommendations for health teeth? Do you want cavities or erections -- LOL?? Did have one question I wonder about advisability of taking the nitric oxide lozenges if you are on an angiotensin receptor blocker like Losartan?

    • @drannetruong
      @drannetruong  Před 4 měsíci

      It is advisable to consult with a physician before taking nitric oxide lozenges if you are on an angiotensin receptor blocker like Losartan. The combination of the two may affect blood pressure and it is important to ensure that the dosage and timing are appropriate for your specific medical condition. It is also important to consider potential interactions and side effects.

      Fluoride is a neurotoxin and a marketed industrial waste product. Much like dental, mercury amalgams ( aka: ‘silver’ fillings that OUTGAS as Hg at body temp. ) Also, true for ‘legalized’ BROMIDE leavening agents in America’s bakery products. GEE !
      So, WHY do the EU countries forbid the use of these 3 ingredients for human consumption? The 2 halide chemicals ( fluoride & bromide ) REALLY mess-up your thyroid’s IODINE cell-receptor sites leading to iodine deficiencies. Iodine ( an ESSENTIAL nutrient ) can create a multiplicity of blinded side-effect because it is needed by EVERY cell in the human body. It’s a major player in your NATURAL immune system !

      @drannetruong  Před 4 měsíci

      It's impossible to guarantee that a methylated multivitamin will directly boost nitric oxide production. While some vitamin components are involved in the pathway, individual results vary, and direct effects are uncertain. Consulting a healthcare professional is crucial for understanding your specific needs and the potential benefits of any supplement, including methylated multivitamins. They can assess your individual health, and potential interactions with medications, and offer personalized advice.

      Nitric oxide can help with erectile dysfunction by improving blood flow, but it is not a standalone solution. It is important to address the underlying causes of nitric oxide deficiency, such as diet, lifestyle, and stress. Additionally, other treatments such as Botox and platelet-rich plasma injections have shown promising results in combination with nitric oxide therapy.

    A heard you say on another show that the arteries had to produce something or none of the other things would wook, is that so?

    • @drannetruong
      @drannetruong  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Yes, it is true that the arteries need to produce something for other processes to work. Specifically, the arteries produce nitric oxide, which is essential for various functions in the body, including regulating blood flow, maintaining healthy blood vessels, and promoting the release of oxygen from red blood cells. Nitric oxide plays a crucial role in the cardiovascular system and is necessary for proper functioning of the endothelial cells that line the blood vessels. Without sufficient nitric oxide production, blood flow can be impaired, leading to conditions such as poor blood flow, erectile dysfunction, and other cardiovascular problems.

      Nitric oxide can help improve symptoms of erectile dysfunction (ED) because it plays a crucial role in the process of achieving and maintaining an erection. Nitric oxide helps to relax and dilate blood vessels, allowing for increased blood flow to the penis. This increased blood flow is necessary for an erection to occur.

    • @drannetruong
      @drannetruong  Před 3 měsíci

      You should consider using a replacement that does not disrupt the oral microbiome or nitric oxide production, such as:
      - Toothpaste without fluoride, such as the Periobiotic Silver Toothpaste
      - Natural or herbal mouthwashes that do not contain antiseptics or fluoride
      - Products specifically designed to promote nitric oxide production
      You can check out some of these products in my Modern Man Crib.

    57, athletic, and a multi sport coach, eat healthy. I take a med to lower my stomach acid, it makes too much. I also have mild ED. I take a Nitric Oxide and Citrulline and Tongkat Ali daily supplement (which by this posting sounds like a waste of time and money). None of the three I am taking is really doing anything? We are told that we can take His lozenges at $80 a month at 2 a day ($60 in bulk), and it is at the dosage we need versus what the other supplements list? Why is my NO supplement not doing anything, but his lozenges work?

    Vegetables with nitrates are likely a net wellness win, and the nitrates in them may actually benefit heart health. Nitrates in processed meat products may be detrimental to health, however, and could increase the risk for certain cancers."

      This is NOT Nitrous Oxide like the Fast n Furious cars used by Dominic Torreto et al. This is NITRIC OXIDE.

      Nitric oxide has benefits on erection. It helps to open up the blood vessels in the sex organs of both men and women, allowing for engorgement and maintaining the engorgement necessary for erections. Nitric oxide is essential for increasing blood flow and pressure, which is necessary for sexual performance and maintaining engorgement for both men and women.
