    Numericals
    Question. What force would be needed to produce an acceleration of 4 m/s2 in a ball of mass 6 kg?
    Solution. The force needed is to be calculated by using the relation:
    Force = mass x acceleration
    F = m x a
    Here, Force, F = ?
    Mass, m = 6 kg
    And, Acceleration, a = 4 m/s2
    Now, putting these values of m and a in the above equation, we get
    F = 6 x 4
    F = 24 N
    Thus, the force needed is of 24 newtons.
    Question. What is the acceleration produced by a force of 12 newtons exerted on an object of mass 3 kg?
    Solution. Here, Force, F = 12 N
    Mass, m = 3 kg
    Acceleration, a = ?
    We know that,
    F = ma
    12 = 3 x a
    3a = 12
    a = 4 m/s2
    Question. Two objects of mass 5 kg and 8 kg are at rest. F1 and F2 are the forces applied on both the respectively. If the speed of both the objects after 10 seconds become 10 m/s and 20 m/s, then find the value of F1 - F2 .

    Mass 1 = 5kg
    Mass 2 = 8kg
    Time = 10 sec
    Initial velocity 1 = 0
    Initial velocity 2 = 0
    Final velocity 1 = 10m/s
    Final velocity 2 = 20 m/s
    Solution:-
    F=m×a
    F1=m×v-u/t
    =5×10-0/10
    = 5N
    F2=m×v-u/t
    = 8×20-0/10
    =16 N
    F1- F2
    5-16= -11N

    We can simply use F= m(v-u)/ t

      @anshulpratap8561 Před 3 lety +1

      @ishan world dekho
      Mass 5kg and 8kg
      F1and F2 are force
      Time 10 second
      Initial velocity of first object 0 and final velocity is 10 m/sec after 10 sec..
      So F=m(v-u)/t
      We get
      5(10-0) /10
      F1=5N
