Numericals
Question. What force would be needed to produce an acceleration of 4 m/s2 in a ball of mass 6 kg?
Solution. The force needed is to be calculated by using the relation:
Force = mass x acceleration
F = m x a
Here, Force, F = ?
Mass, m = 6 kg
And, Acceleration, a = 4 m/s2
Now, putting these values of m and a in the above equation, we get
F = 6 x 4
F = 24 N
Thus, the force needed is of 24 newtons.
Question. What is the acceleration produced by a force of 12 newtons exerted on an object of mass 3 kg?
Solution. Here, Force, F = 12 N
Mass, m = 3 kg
Acceleration, a = ?
We know that,
F = ma
12 = 3 x a
3a = 12
a = 4 m/s2
Question. Two objects of mass 5 kg and 8 kg are at rest. F1 and F2 are the forces applied on both the respectively. If the speed of both the objects after 10 seconds become 10 m/s and 20 m/s, then find the value of F1 - F2 .

Mass 1 = 5kg
Mass 2 = 8kg
Time = 10 sec
Initial velocity 1 = 0
Initial velocity 2 = 0
Final velocity 1 = 10m/s
Final velocity 2 = 20 m/s
Solution:-
F=m×a
F1=m×v-u/t
=5×10-0/10
= 5N
F2=m×v-u/t
= 8×20-0/10
=16 N
F1- F2
5-16= -11N

Ma'am could you please tell that,
In car's question we can't right the formula of acceleration
(v-u/t)
Hmm
Yes, you can write and find the answer directly
@@HarshRaj-tt3mg yes u r correct.😊
yaah, we can use both formulas
Is it ok if we just find the a in the f=ma equation itself?
Like f= m (v-u/t) instead of using v=u+at to find a

Everything is ok until we follow math. You can do any one, as long as you are not creating your own equations.

The ques 3 solved is wrongly done 10m/s and 20m/s are not velocity. These are accelerations of 2 objects
U r ❌
If you do it from acceleration formula then also answer is same . Ma'am has done long way which is of no use.
No bro these are not accelerations too, these are the speed of the given two objects. Read the question carefully. Eventhough, the question is done wrong

Mam in 3rd question why don't you use m*(v-u)/t
Why you find acceleration first then f=ma it is so long if we directly use m*(v-u)/t it will be so small for uss..
Hi there! We appreciate your feedback and your interest in our educational videos. The reason why we first find the acceleration is because it is a fundamental concept in physics. By understanding the acceleration, we can then apply the equation F=ma to calculate the force. We hope this explanation was helpful and thank you again for your comment!
Thanks only 1 day left for exams and i am perfectly trained 😁😁😃😎

Mam can we find acceleration from v-u by time
Yes
there are some questions which are over lengthy but they can be solved simply just to make the video lengthy on simple questions
