Thank you Vince for entertaining us for over 4 decades! Although he was out of touch the last decade of his career, there is no denying that without him wrestling would not be as popular as it is.

Back during the biggest boom period the then-WWF had. He tried to be a face, but it backfired on him and he just turned up the evilness to a near permanent 11. While planned heel turns can create lasting stories, his accidental heel turn created a generation defining Era, and he just happened to have the right man on the roster to help him out in his friend and on screen rival, the man who would be arguably the most popular face of all time, the Texas Rattlesnake himself, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
While the Era was riddled with garbage, none can deny the Austin-McMahon feud was anything but Gold. After all, the WWE is still here for better or worse.
Attitude Era was the best, there was nothing garbage about it.

I could go on and on about all the shitty angles and gimmicks that came out of that era, I mean they had Vince Russo heading creative and he wanted to turn the wwe into the jerry springer show.

Say what you want, but Vince Mcmahon in 1997-2001is the best wrestling promoter in all of professional wrestling. Tony can't replicate what Vince did during that timeframe. He sacrificed his body and dignity while getting beat up every week, and he gave us the best product of wrestling. Tony can only mimick what vince did in the past and revive the product of the attitude era in today's Aew.
