"Love is love" was well said by the boy because you can't force someone to be with you if they don't feel the same thing as you and you can't understand each other. For a relationship to succeed is important to have love, understanding and support between two people, otherwise like the elder brother who blindly follows outdated traditions and did not consider his wife until now, finally his marriage fell apart because of it. It doesn't matter where you come from, what's your culture and where you're from, what's important is to be with the person you'll feel comfortable with and can get along with your days with this person because you'll know he'll be there for you like he did for Emery. I am first generation in America. My family is from Poland! I completely understand that some immigrant families prefer staying to their customs and traditions. It can be tough finding love in that type of family. I of course, am lucky not to have issues with this, but just that the person is not a part of your culture, does not mean they aren’t right fit! Many Americans are eager to learn about different cultures and being introduced to them is very important. This story is very touching!
