I think Acapulco will regain its legendary nobility as it was before.
Acapulco is the original vacation resort. Was visited by Hollywood stars in the 1930's .
Mario Cisneros you fi realize why! Almost a century ago, international travel was really not that popular or easy, the weather and the proximity to the U.S. is the only reason this place was popular back then. It still looks beautiful though, if you like places reminiscent of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s fiction.
I went to acapulco for my honeymoon wasnt as bad as people say it is you jus gott to keep a low profile and in the tourist zone

WOW, that was seriously awesome Raya, great video, you're getting really good at the video editing! Acapulco looked amazing, wish I'd made it there while I was in Mexico, but I'll just have to go another time. Keep up the great vlogs. Where to next? I just saw the Vagabrothers video in California, with you and Louis and Ben, etc., quite the crew. I was just in San Francisco myself! But now in Hawaii which isn't so bad. Nicely done. I've been going to Acapulco every year since '94. Not as much on the high end like you though. : )
Acapulco is not nearly as bad as the Media hype portrays. Yes, there have been a couple of recent battles between cartels. But if you ask the many tourists, many who are friends of mine that are in Acapulco year round say it is business as usual and is safe at all hours.
I will not hesitate to book again which unfortunately won't be until February. I sure wish it were sooner.
Exactly. It's like here in Brazil what happens in Rio de Janeiro, touristic cities. Well, not a good comparison though (because here is much worse), but for ordinary people living in the place life just goes on. You're more likely to get involved in dangerous situations if you're hanging out with the wrong people late at the evening or if you're not careful with expensive stuff like your iPhone hanging out for everyone to see in the middle of the street every 30 seconds for example, that's quite a dumb attitude anyway so of course you're going to be robbed. If you are taking care of your life without raising attention, nothing will happen to you, and this goes for everywhere in the world.
I'm actually going in August it looks amazing!

Come on down and enjoy yourself. It's great. The violence is between the drug cartels; no different than it was 50 years ago on my first visit. These days there is social media; bad news travels around the world before truth gets it socks on. Some one else said that, but in this case seems just right. And nobody wears socks in Acapulco.

Hi Raya your video is nice and I only wish you had more time to get to see the most beautiful sunset there is at "Pie de la Cuesta" or Having to live the nightlife enjoying the view through the tall windows at Palladium Club or having to see the Mexican Folklore nigh shows at the CIA (Centro Internacional Acapulco) and visit the Roqueta Island just to name a few more things.
