I've just been diagnosed with dupuytrens, it's starting to pull in my little and ring finger of my right hand, my little finger is completely numb and one side of my ring finger, the side nearest my little finger is also numb. At present I'm waiting for an appointment to see a specialist, but have been told that there could be a long wait. It effects me in simple things like holding a razor to shave, or holding a pen, I also play guitar and it's effecting this badly, problems holding a plectrum is difficult and finger picking is completely impossible.
It is painful and the hand gets swollen
