The singer didnt know about this "prank" so she was just really really confused on why this random guy was trying to grab her and kiss her as she shoved him away repeatedly and why everyone around her was laughing without doing anything even tho she was clearly uncomfortable and confused. And the problem is not that he was inviting the guys to take part of it. The problem was that he was forcing it on to them. You would think Bobby would understand that considering the way not just Carlo's but other comedians treated him, and how Bobby himself has said that they would constantly make him uncomfortable but he didn't feel like he had the power to say no. This was a podcast conversation not an improv group testing out new material. And even in improv groups what you do with one person is not something you would do with another. Even if one person comes up with something start leading, making the person in the scene who is "Yes and-ing" into the butt of the joke. The best people make it fun for everyone, the person we projected on to as the butt of the joke knows that once the scene is done no one was actually laughing at them, or tried to make them uncomfortable. That is also why pro's don't do certain material with people they barley know. There has to be a level of trust that is built up. Look at Whose line deleted unrated scenes or when they got more freedom on the CW. And the problem is not that he was inviting the guys to take part of it. The problem was that he was forcing it on to them. You would think Bobby would understand that considering the way not just Carlo's but other comedians treated him, and how Bobby himself has said that they would constantly make him uncomfortable but he didn't feel like he had the power to say no.
This was a podcast conversation not an improv group testing out new material. And even in improv groups what you do with one person is not something you would do with another. Even if one person comes up with something start leading, making the person in the scene who is "Yes and-ing" into the butt of the joke. The best people make it fun for everyone, the person we projected on to as the butt of the joke knows that once the scene is done no one was actually laughing at them, or tried to make them uncomfortable. That is also why pro's don't do certain material with people they barley know. There has to be a level of trust that is built up. Look at Whose line deleted unrated scenes or when they got more freedom on the CW. If there is inappropriate touching or kissing involved, they always pick Colin who is game for anything even if the rotating guest is a woman, because they don't want the woman to feel uncomfortable getting her breasts groped for a gag. The reason Colin is game for everything is that he has decades of trust and experience with those people, he knows it's never personal.
Bobby's comedy is alot about laughing at things that he himself admits are wrong, disgusting, dirty. When someone says something that can be taken to a dark place and he's quick with a line saying something extremely inappropriate, that's fine after all they are just words. Either you laugh because you thought it was funny, or if you didn't think so you will roll your eyes, maybe groan and then just move on. Both perfectly fine options.

Eventually, controversy over this “joke” grew to a point he was attacked on stage for it. So he stopped telling it as much. Now, whenever clips of him doing this “bit” resurface on CZcams or elsewhere, they’re magically scrubbed from the host site. At least until someone else reuploads them again.
