I think in his case it was a blessing in disguise that he did not win Idol. It gave him the opportunity to do what he wanted instead of conforming to the Idol guidelines.

I am a Glambert through and through. When this performance came out Ibwas shocked at how amazing it is. I guess I’m shocked with literally every new thing he does because he is constantly bringing is all with his voice, hair, outfits, makeup. He is not only amazing and next level to listen to but equally as amazing to watch. I copied this make and gems look for a Queen show I was at a few months ago! I just love it!! Adam was there to simply Entertain to remind Idol watchers what his impact was on thi s show. He is humbly grateful to Idol for the platform that launched his underated talent. Katy Perry brought her Adam Lambert cape she wore when she performed during Adam's season. There was quite the blowback for her visual display of supprting Adam.😊

If you haven't seen / heard it, check out his cover of Cher's song, "Believe", live at the Kennedy Center, in honour of Cher. He actually brought a tear to her eye and she gave him a standing O. Amazing performance.

Thanks for posting this, love hearing Adam sing! I heard sing him in person & people are right, he's better in person which is hard to believe but he is. This show was the one where he mentored the contestants and told the Hawaiin singer that the odds were he would win, he was right! Adam always has been grateful to AI for helping him to get noticed and says it's due to the show he's where he is where he is today and so if AI asks for his assistance, if he's available, he will help. He's currently in Australia as a Judge on their Voice. Adam, apparently, is only comfortable being 6 feet 5 inches tall! He's tall at 6 feet 1 inch tall, but he must feel short at that height, since he wears platforms or heels most of the time. I quit watching AI after they screwed Adam over. I DVR'D it so I could watch Adam mentor the contestants a few seasons ago which was fun but that was all I watched, could care less about that show.

My favorite performance of Adam singing this is with Beverly Knight at her show at her Mighty Hoople. Beverly Knight and Adam were both judges for the show Starstruck in the UK. She is the perfect partner for Adam. He has a tendency to sing at his partners level so he doesn't out sing them. With Beverly he doesn't have to. Here's a video of them singing Falling together. It's another reactors video since all I could find was shorts and his was the only full length. This is for you to enjoy, not for a reaction. The song is only a couple of minutes long. I get chills every time I see it...amazing!

Adam's voice in on a different level than any other singer ever and to those who can't separate political and social beliefs from sheer talent and refuse to listen to him because he's gay keep being ignorant jerks and let the rest of us enjoy his unearthly vocals.
