Is it the repetition that potentially leads you down the slippery slope of insanity, as the wait for the next chapter seems to stretch into infinity, the days passing so quickly yet not at all at the same time? A road that looks so similar to everything else around it, you cannot know whether or not you're moving at all? Will this stretch on indefinitely? Sure, the content that comes out of such repetition is entertaining for its receivers, but are you still entertained?

My favorite part about Deltarune/Undertale is that the fandom can depict Gaster as anything from a simple goop man to an existentially terrifying being with dark and twisted intentions. And that's barely even scratching the surface of all the different interpretations of him. Personally, I've always viewed him as some sort corrupted, hollow version of the man he once was; conducting endless experiments and collecting data as he influences others through his limited grasp from the Void. He is not evil; there is simply nothing left behind the eyes. No soul. No essence of life. Just the vaguely grasped concept of his purpose on loop in the best attempt of restoring his role in the story.
