I can barely listen to anything Ray Charles does without tearing up. There's no one who can pack so much into one song, one phrase even, like he did. And anyone who think Willie Nelson is just a hick singer, just doesn't get it.
Ray and Willie both singing their good nature for that audience. Wish I was there in person ......with you who are reading this, so you can imagine it too. We can be greatful for who ever captured this moment for us.
The importance is they love each other. Don’t compare the style or the strength of these two friends. I know they are happy just to sing with each other. For those that feel otherwise, please think again. I wish I have a moment like this before I die.

These two do not have the best voices in the world, but they are legends because they love the music... and every song is from the heart, sung with passion. I am truly envious of those who were lucky to see this, and I am thankful for youtube, so I could at least witness it on video.
2 of my favorite & fabulously talented gentlemen, singing the official song of the great state of Georgia~ May goodness, their voices are the sweetest thing….Ray made local and state government listen to him, long ago. Now a days, we know he’s long ago honored by his sweet song becoming the official state song! Bless the world for these amazing fellas!

I seen Ray and the Raylettes in the 'Palais des Festivals' in Cannes in 1986. I was there on a American week in juli and got 1 of the last tickets :) We walked the red carpet to a AMAZINGLY GOOD vocal concert and great piano play. When i came back home the first thing i did was buying his audio cassette. His songs were magic to my ears, also his movements and little jokes. No 1 could sing 'Georgia On My Mind' like Ray did. Sadly this concert was not recorded for audience.
