- This thruster is similar to ones you can purchase online with a few tweaks for use with the PVC based frames I've been working with lately. It is completely 3D printed in PLA+ with the exception of the brushless motor.

This is an awesome video! Lots of details.
You mentioned the .stl files might be available. Would you be kind enough to point me to those? I’m far from an engineer but I have plenty of AutoCAD and Microstation experience. I’ve never used Solidworks. I’m wondering if I can import/export between the softwares?
We are working on updating the project section of the website. As soon as that's done, we should have the models up as well as having a few thrusters for sale in the online store. You should be able to inport the STLs. I haven't worked with AutoCAD in quite a few years, but it imports fine in Solidworks and Onshape.
The STL files can be downloaded here. bentsprockettech.com/diy_projects/underwater-thruster/
Voltage? Current at maximum thrust?
Thank you for asking about this. We were running at 12v with a 20a ESC. I am about to pick up an amp meter. As soon as I do we can record another video with actual numbers. This video was an attempt to record max thrust (as much as we could with the low budget hack setup). The new motors will probably be the KV950 X2830 which are 350x and would max out at 28a peak. I know that's not exactly what you were looking for, but I hope it helps.
which 3d printer is used to print this ?
All of the thruster components were printed on a Creality Ender 3 using Inland PLA+. The motor is a SkyRC KV920 X2830.
@@bentsprockettech thanks

We are working out the plastic supply right now. I will give an update as soon as we have them in the online store.
We will have these in our store at bentsprockettech.com/online-store/ within the next few days. I will update this reply as soon as we list them.
