Zlatan Ibrahimovic is unique. A swaggering, sensational player who has won wherever he’s gone and - now 39 - might just go on scoring goals forever. But why is he embraced as he is?

He didn't have a background so he created his own. He has a black belt in taekwondo which people associate with his many unorthodox and acrobatic goals. Also after the add in the LA paper he scored a brace in his first appearance against their biggest rivals, including one of his most outlandish wondergoals. And although he didn't win trophies with sweden, he did score one of the most ridiculous overhead kicks against england which won the puskas. He scored these types of goals that only he would attempt, not even messi or ronaldo went for the types of finishes that he seems to have scored wherever he went.

Correction: Zlatan is not war refugee. He's born in Sweden in 1981 and he never lived in former Yugoslavia afterwards. He's mother is Croatian and his father is a Bosnian who came to Sweden in search for a work in the 1970's.

I honestly love the guy, he inspires me to work harder for my goals. He can be a blabbermouth but he always delivers. And I mean, how who's not impressed by seeing a 39 year old guy cross a football pitch side to side effortlessly? lol

Genuine football fans appreciate Zlatan for what he is, a true athlete and a remarkable talent, unlike any we've seen before. His goals are almost always spectacular. He's certainly the last of this generation of hard, proper footballers with bags of skills. I can see him playing for another 10 years.

He's currently at AC Milan and honestly his presence has changed the philosophy fo the entire squad. Every single member of the squad, coaching, and management explain that he's brought a competitive spirit to the club that can't be provided by anyone else. He's one of the top scorers in the league sure but even with him injured rn Milan is doing phenomenally with him watching from the sidelines.
As a Milan fan whose team is top of the league in Italy after almost 10 years, I can assure you it's all because of Zlatan.
I hope he stays at Milan for way past his retirement so that effect on the club stays even if he's not in the squad.

There is love, there is hate. There is light and there is darkness. Everything is an emotion. On Zlatan you can project any and every feeling, he's everything to everyone. You can love him or you can hate him, based on your perspective. I've followed Zlatan his whole career and he has provided me with so much joy and excitement. I think Zlatan is ... well, different. I've followed football closely since the late 60's and I've never seen a player like Zlatan. I think it's mainly his personality; I do recognize his amazing talents but I also recognize Messi and C Ronaldo as the greatest of this generation but I still believe Zlatan at his best would shine even with players lika Pelé, Maradona, Best or Cruyff at his side. His personality gives him charisma and also the ability to be the focal point of any team. I admire C Ronaldo for his work ethic but the geniuses of today's football are Messi and Zlatan, they have a certain unique talent and ability to do the unexpected. Zlatan's goal portfolio is probably the richest and most extravagant of any player through history ...

The most Important thing wasnt in this video, he isnt just an arrogant, inflated ego. He plays with that Image. Of course he is very confident. But all those lines of being a god or a lion are an Ironic or sarcastic way of exaggeration. And the fact that people love him is just the point on the start of the video, he is real, the last of his Kind. Every Player today will just tell the Media what they want them to hear. His style, the skills, the attitude etc. thats why he is my favourite Player. He is an icon.
