The boss music on NES is nice. This would have been an instant classic
I think the robot masters are harder in this game than the original
It's not that you think they're harder, they actually are harder. I know this for a fact because I have been playing the original for years and it's really easy, but in this demake both the bosses and levels are much harder. The levels get kinda of cheap sometimes...

Is this real or a rom hack?
Its a fangame called Rockman 8 FC. It is a complete demake of Mega Man 8 in 8 bit. Theres also one for Mega Man 7.

@@Dracheplayz A demake is when you take a game and downgrade it instead of upgrading it, which is what it essentially does. Same game designed to look like it plays on an older console.
@MGTOW Zion Here is a download link for the game, and also one for the 8 bit Mega Man 7 in case you wanted to play that one too. Its a fan game, not a rom hack, so don't try to open it with your NES emulator. One more thing, it is a Japanese fan game so the DL link for MM7 and all the config files for the actual game are in Japanese, so it might be a little confusing. If you have any trouble, I might make a video on how to install the game, since I haven't seen one online.

I know that they tried their best to make the demakes look lile the NES games but sorry, they suck. Many BGs are inaccurate and the some of the remixes make my ears bleed. Also some bosses have inaccurate attacks. Damn, even Megaman X Street Fighter was able to do a lot better than these demakes!
